Panther LR 308 Panther has a 416 stainless steel 24 in barrel featuring 6 grooves, right hand 1X10 twist, button rifled. With a gas operated rotating bolt, and a 8620 steel bolt carrier. The primary sights are for optics (not included). The upper receiver is thick walled extruded from 6066-T6 aluminum featuring snag free design, smooth side look with no shell deflector, no dust cover, no forward assist and a flattop picatinny rail for easy scope mounting. The lower receiver is milled from a solid billet of 6061-T6 with a integral trigger guard and standard AR-15 trigger. The stock is standard A2 blackZytel Mil Spec with trap door and the handguards are standard length and ribbed free float tube.

love this rifle. dpms messed up and sent a 4 rd mag instead of a 10 but said they will swap it out. 4 round mags really only hold 3. pmags work very well and don't scratch up bullets cause they are plastic. this gun is very heavy but i expected that. have not shot for accuracy yet but no jams or ftf and i can tell it will be accurate when i get some loads developed. buds is awesome but you already know that if you have read any reviews on this site, only place i will buy guns from.
