The SIG SAUER® P226® is the pistol that set the standard by which all other combat handguns are measured. The exceptional ergonomics and balance make this full-size pistol easy to handle. Its longer barrel yields better ballistic performance and accuracy. The P226 MK25 is identical to the pistol carried by the U.S. Navy SEALs the fleet’s special warfare operators. The railed P226 chambered in 9mm and engraved with an anchor on the left side of the slide is the official sidearm of the SEALs.

This Desert version features flat dark earth coated alloy frame, and stainless steel slide. It also features a UID identification label, anti-corrosion coatings on controls and internal components and anchor engraving on left side of the slide.

I have moved up in weight from my Glock 19 for the last five years. I am a big guy and have been more comfortable and accurate with each gain in weight. I have not taken this bad boy to the range yet but it is a beautiful gun and the heaviest that I now own, and it is a Sig! You can do the math! Buds layaway program is easy to use and the shipping was super fast after my last payment. I would love it if Buds could find some way of qualifying the appropriate credit worthy buyers to be able to stary a shoot now pay in 90 days program. I would also love it if they had an auto payment option in the layaway program. Great gun great company is the bottom line!!!

This is one of two SIG P226 MK25 pistols that I own. The other differs only in that it has a threaded barrel. Both of them are great handguns. Smooth shooting, accurate, reliable with all of the 115gr and 124gr ball and hollow-point ammo I've run through them. I've even run remanufactured TMJ ammo without any problems at all. I took a day-long defensive shooting course with my MK25, dropped many magazines in the sand and dirt, and the gun continued to perform without problems all day long. The double-action trigger pull is heavier than some other handguns, but it is smooth and provides superb safety for a carry or duty gun. I did eventually add the SIG short-reset trigger to both my MK25s, and it's a nice, simple upgrade that improves follow-up shots without sacrificing the safety of the DA/SA system. All-around solid pistol.

What an amazing handgun! I fully trust this firearm with my life, smooth shooter, accurate, and absolutely dependable. Been out 4 times with the MK 25 and have put 1200 rounds through it without any hiccup. Shoots everything from cheap steel to high-end defensive ammo all the same. Bud’s had this $200 cheaper than I could find it in any store (it has since gone up but still worth the money). Couldn’t be happier with my purchase, it’s a shame the SEALs switched to the Glock 19.

This is just a beautiful gun. It came with a Sig Sauer Certificate of Authinticity. It was blemish free. It feels awesome in your hand but I do not plan on ever shooting it. I know some may not like that but I have other P226’s and P229’s to shoot.

Buds is always great and smooth. As for the gun, it is perfect, came as described. Very smooth DA trigger pull, flawless function. Eats all types of ammo, and is a tack driver. My 3rd MK25. What a addiction

Purchased this sidearm partly for sentimental reasons, as a 23 year Navy veteran. It has lived up to every accolade those I know who have shot it have given it. Outstanding weapon in all respects. Minor issue: When I put it on the 180 day Budsgun layaway plan the price was almost $200 more than they list it for now. Bad timing, I guess.

This is an awesome weapon. I have only shot it one time, putting about a 150 rounds through it. Started to loosen up toward the end of shooting. In beginning the ejection of shells were just barley making it out of weapon. Towards the end seem to be ejecting in a normal trajectory. Super easy to field strip to clean. Hits dead on where ever you aim. I shot between 10' and 110 yards, didn't matter still hit where I aimed. I checked local gun shops and different sites on-line, Buds has the best price by far. I definitely recommend this gun.

As a first time firearm purchase, I was not expecting too much. I have to admit, this one was very easy to handle, clear, load, and fire. Within the first clip at the range, I was putting them in a nice tight group and could control it very easily. With a little practice, I think I'll be VERY accurate with this. It has a solid feel, no rattles or looseness at all. It is a very solid and smooth shooting weapon. I am looking forward to working with it for many years!

I've had my P226 MK25 for about 9 mos, and it by far is my favorite semi-auto to shoot. I love the fit and finish of every Sig product I've ever seen, and the MK25 is no exception. I find it to be a little on the heavy side, but the balance is absolutely wonderful! Also, it's full size makes it difficult (at least from my perspective) to use as a CCW, but I wouldn't hesitate to use it in an open carry situation, paired with some quality JHP ammo. Finally, the MK25 is as accurate as its operator - I am by no means a marksman, but I can easily plink 12" steel silhouettes (in fairly rapid fire order) at 25 yards w/the MK25. I would highly recommend the P226 MK25 to anyone who appreciates a smooth operating semi-auto, that is an absolute joy to shoot. The price point may turn some folks away, but for me it has been worth every penny.
