• Q: I went to the range yesterday to shot this specific model and the next larger one. Why is it the thumb safety is not on this one but it is on others that are the same model?

  Hi Roxanne. Most manufacturers make pistols without the manual safety as well to cater to the part of the population that prefer not to have this feature. many folks got used to the Glock era that started this craze. So it's just an optional configuration as some prefer the manual safety and some do not. Welcome to the Community and shooting sports!
