Smith & Wesson's M&P 40c, subcompact, is perfect for my concealed carry/self defense requirements. Hi capacity, well made, reliable semi auto with manual safety and good trigger. I carry with the standard mag, very little imprint and I can handle the pistol very well without the extended mag. It shoots all types of factory ammo. I use Federal 180gr HST JHP for self defense. Buds has been so great in all of my purchases from them.

I have been very happy with my choice here. It is reliable, easy to shoot, accurate. Had no issues with any ammo used in it, it mows through them all. But, we all know that S&W is a company you can trust almost implicitly.

Decent CCW weapon. Trigger is as mushy as expected with the full width M&P line. Ended up replacing this with the M&P Shield that has WAY better factory trigger
