The Beretta Cx4 Storm Semi Auto Rifle is a quality firearm. This carbine is chambered in .40 S&W and has a 16.6" barrel. The magazine holds 14 rounds of ammunition, and the gun comes in a black finish with a synthetic stock. This innovative product is accurate, softshooting and easy to accessorize. A retractable picatinny rail extends from the forearm for mounting tactical lights. Picatinny rails can be mounted on either side (one side rail included) and on bottom of the forearm for lasers or forward grips. A full length aluminum top rail is included for mounting your optics. This light and compact gun also features a unique patented design that allows the user to reverse ejection and extraction with no special tools or additional parts. Combined with the reversible safety and magazine buttons, the Cx4 is the ideal solution for left handed shooters. Length of pull can be adjusted with the addition or removal of 1/2" spacers (one included). The Cx4 accepts the Beretta family of pistol magazines in various capacities.

I bought this many years ago and put a Beretta barrel shroud on it...for looks. However, this is my favorite weapon to shoot. I - - - get more .40 cal rounds than I can shoot. What I like about this weapon is I can keep it in the bulls eye while shooting rapidly. There is virtually no recoil so it is easy to put all your rounds where you want to pretty quickly. I've never had a malfunction with this weapon.

I wanted a pistol and pistol-caliber carbine that use the same magazines, and the CX combined with the PX pistol satisfies that need. Over 1000 rounds without a glitch. Almost feels like a bullpup because it’s so compact. I purchased an extra bolt handle, run with a pair installed on either side. The front sight is a black post, not easy to locate in a hurry. I’ve painted that sight with fluorescent green paint as a stopgap measure, but another solution is needed.

Love this rifle. There are some downsides but definitely the best option if you want a 40 Pistol Caliber Carbine. The only thing about this gun i really don't like is that the mag well is so recessed it is difficult to put in a mag on a closed chamber, however this is easily remedied with the 3 round extended floor plate from Beretta (make mags 17 rds too :) ). With the extension it puts the mag sticking out about 1/8" so it is very easy to insert a full mag now. Also if you want some upgrades look at Sierra Papa, there trigger's are amazeing.

Bought this gun and took it right out to the range. Beautiful trigger action. Once it was sighted in it quickly became one of my favorite guns. Thinking about buying the 9mm version too!

Great rifle, and can't beat buds price...mine came with top and side rail so an extra 100 bucks free...some reviews claim it has a mushy trigger, I don't think so, shoots clean and very accurate at 100+ yards. Only problem I have is the .40 doesn't have a truly high cap mag, 17 rounds is as large as I have found, but I knew that goin in...I highly recommend!
