This 1911 is the most accurate 45ACP I own. Since I am left handed, I love the ambi safety. The fiber optic sight is easy to see with my 81 year old eyes. It is a perfect match for the 9mm version that is exactly like the 45ACP.

Great 1911 for the money!! Fired 200+ rounds straight out the box -o- failure to feed, even with factory mags. The sites are very good and this is a target pistol right out the box:) Will be putting some pork in the freezer!

Great gun. Was never a huge 1911 fan but I decided a year ago to add a Kimber Tactical Pro II to my collection. I love that gun and it was a real nice change of pace to hold something in my hand made out of metal for a change. And the worst 1911 triggers still beat the best striker fired triggers. So I decided I would like another 1911 but with a longer barrel and more precise sights for range pinking. When I came across this RO elite target model I knew I found what I was looking for. Getting 4 magazines with it was a plus as well. My Kimber only came with one. The build quality on this gun is excellent. I like it better then my Kimber. Its a very smooth shooting gun and its larger size and weight make for a very easy and comfortable shooting 45. I have about 300 rounds through it so far with no failures. Very accurate shooting gun. With the fiber optic sight up front and blacked out rear sight the precision in aiming is good but I'm finding it slow to acquire targets compared to combat type sights that have on my other handguns. But when taking my time with this gun eating the center out of the bullseye is not difficult at all. I'm very pleased with my purchase and so far this gun has exceeded my expectations.

I got a smoking deal from Buds. This gun is a beauty! Super tight. The barrel bushing is so tight that take down and reassembly is a bit difficult. Should get better with a bit of shooting! Just got back from the range. It is a tack driver, easy to put them all in a ragged hole. No FTF or problems at all in the 100 rounds I put thru it. Highly recommended! 5 stars!
