stunning revolver...tightest cylinder lock up I've every had!

It's a very pretty gun, the action is smooth, trigger is not bad and it never misfires. However, it did shoot 6" low and left at 25 yards. It seems capable of good groups but well off the point of aim. I clamped the barrel in hardwood blocks and turned it slightly and filed down the front sight. Now with the front sight noticeably crooked it still shoots 3" left.

As always, Bud's came through on time. I have inspected the item and the craftsmanship and details look excellent. I was highly impressed. I cannot yet comment on the complete operations of the pistol, but the trigger and action seem spot on. I will review futher once I get out to the range. This should be sometime next week. As of right now, I am reviewing based on appearance and the feel of the firearm, so please keep that in mind.

This is a beautiful fully engraved .45 LC model with black finish and white grips with an eagle engraved on it. This same standard finish model gun is sold in .44 Mag so it should be able to take pressures close to .45 LC Ruger Blackhawk revolver. Although I do not intend to fire this gun but use it for a display. I have the standard finish version of this gun that I shoot with. I use to complain that Bud's deliberately did not give out enough information or pictures to sell its online guns. If they had given correct or current information and picture of this gun, it would have been sold out long before I could have found it on Bud's web site. Example: the title of this page indicates the gun is 4.5" barrel instead of the standard 4.75" barrel that it is and what it reads in the description.
