Does anybody know the expected trigger pull weights in SA and DA out of the box? Thanks for any responses.

John, on my Lyman gauge my DA pull averages 9.2lbs and SA is 4lbs average. Three fairly simple spring changes and two parts (~$60 total) can get the DA down to 7 lbs and SA around 2.5 lbs. Cheers and stay safe!

This has a fiber optic front and a serrated black hajo adjustable rear sight. The rear sight is wind and elevation adjustable. Hope this helps.

Michael, yes Sir. It will fit CZ 75B, 75 SP-01 Shadow, 85B pistols in 9mm.

Why is the Orange Shadow so much more than any of the others? Same pistol, right?

CZ and CZ Custom both make variations of the "Shadow." The one you asked about is the Shadow 2 which is a production model from CZ along with the basic Shadow. The SP-01 Shadow Orange, AccuShadow, Bull Shadow, and Shadow Custom are all different models.

The Shadow Orange is a top end USPSA/IPSC Production Division pistol that is hand fitted and customized by the CZ Custom Shop in Mesa, Az then shipped to CZ USA who distributes them. The Shadow 2 you have listed is a standard mass produced pistol with no hand fitting.

Mike, this is simply a "Stock Number" situation. Buds prices are tied directly to stock level which often makes ordinarily similar/same price firearms vary so greatly in price. "Learn Buds "Stock Level" game and you can save lots of $$.

Mike, The CZ 75 shadows run from $1700 to $1100 this firearm is priced right in the middle. A lot has to do with inventory. They all have their own special touch. This one is less then the all black model.

Does this gun have ambidextrous safety.

It comes with 2 ambidextrous safeties. One is the standard safety which works best when you wish to carry locked and cocked. The other, which is installed at the factory, is a special low profile safety most of us competitive shooters prefer because we start in double action and the low profile doesn't get in our way during magazine changes.

CZ makes the best pistols. And this is a beautiful and good pistol. But for the price, I feel that it should have a better trigger. The trigger is light but the reset should be shorter. That's why i gave it 3 stars.

If you are on the fence about the Shadow 2, let me say this is the finest handgun I have purchased. My trigger out of the box is 8lbs 5.9 oz double action, and 2lbs 11.4oz single action. 5 pull average on a Lyman digital gauge. And smooth as butter. I also have a CZ P01 Omega with the CGW full lock work upgrade kit installed, and the trigger on the Shadow still just feels better. The pistol is heavy, but balanced just right. This gun just wants to run fast. Sights just seem to naturally fall right back on target. Quality, fit and finish are top notch. I believe this is the best value out there. I am by no means a competition shooter, but I now know why they are so popular in the sport. You won't be disappointed.

I've only put about 700 rounds through mine so far the ergonomics, and shootability are great, but I feel like the trigger could be better for the money paid.

First of all I must say that I am a novice when it come to guns. I have been shooting for about two years. I started with a Smith and Wesson .380 EZ. After that I bought a Smith and Wesson M&P M2.0 4”. There are a few others. When I saw this gun, the CZ Shadow 2, I had to have it. The difference between the CZ and my other gun is like night and day. That CZ’s trigger pull is so smooth, that I could not believe it. After the first double action, the single action is great. If you want to see what it is like to fire a premium gun, get the CZ Shadow 2. You will be in a state of shock after firing it.

CZ Shadow 2 SA/DA -- Seven days after I ordered it, I received it, factory sealed, opened the case for inspection and all was good. I cleaned it before getting to the range.Not one flaw inside or out, no machine marks - nothing! At the range, I punched out the center of a few paper targets (15 yds ) then got on the steel plates, and was putting them down really fast, for me anyway. No issues at all. I found that all the good reviews I have read about this gun are true. What a great trigger, really, really nice. Accurate and easy to shoot well. I sure didn`t need another gun, and it was hard to 'choke down' the cost, but this CZ looks and shoots like something I would pay a lot more for. I am sure glad I got it.

Super clean. I still cant get over at the steal of a price buds gun shop sold me this cz shadow 2. Got here in 7 days from initial purchase after verifying my information and the whole 9 yards security process but I must say it was worth waiting every second for it. A+ to Buds, A+ on the quality of the firearm, A+ to the FFL they recommended, A+ to the helpful staff at Buds gun shop they made the purchase super easy and pleasant.
