Will this gun use glock 17 mags? Thank you

Gary, Nope. Totally different dimensions. (New and Improved?)10 round single stack for G48 & 43X, too wide for G43 and conventional Glock 17 round double stack magazine for the G17 are not compatible.

no the mags are not interchangeable the 17 is a double stack mag and is to wide to fit the single stack 48 frame

Michael, the Glock 48 has a more supported barrel than the 43x. Fully supported is a misnomer as all Glock barrels have a ramp for reliable feeding. This is the reason that there are more supported aftermarket barrels available. Issues with Glocks were mostly 40 S&W and not so much for the 9mm's, 357Sig's and 45's.

Glock 48 is a great gun and Bud's pricing is always the best. I picked it up form my FFL and brought it to the range the next day. I was surprised it only came with 1 10 round magazine. The label indicated 2 10 round magazines should be included. Contacted Bud's and they provided the phone number to call Glock directly. I thought that was uncharacteristic for Bud's. I bought from Bud's not Glock. I'll call Glock to see if there is satisfaction there.
Only 4 stars because of the missing magazine.

Have only run 50 rounds through the gun so far but it has functioned perfectly. Love the slimness of the single stack frame and like the larger magazine capacity over the smaller models. As usual ordering was easy and delivery was quick.
