Nice little shooter. Kick is less than I thought it would be for a small frame .45. Light enough I can practice with it and an EDC is worthless if you are not proficient with it. Highly recommend extra mags, low capacity is its only drawback, but a requirement if trying to conceal a hand cannon.

Although texture is fairly grippy I put a lil leftover talon grip tape on backstrap and frontstrap and it made a world of difference keeping control of pistol. Fit and finish are as expected from Springfield and accuracy is on point as well. I sold my Glock 27 and replaced it with this firearm. It is very slim and easy to conceal but duz HV some weight to it so it won't replace my bodyguard 38 as my edc but it does fit in as a light owb gun in my collection and also as a great home defense pistol as well. Love that 45 acp in a small package like this one, 1911s are awesome but not my first carry choice or even second or third, this is loaded with safety features that all deactivate as u get ready to pull trigger instead of a manual safety lever which in my opinion defeats purpose of having a gun at the ready that's not actually ready. Anyways I wud trade my 27 any day again for this pistol but never my Colt 1911 but the Colt is honestly more of a range toy and safe queen than anything else.

Maybe the best everyday carry gun made to date.I have fired this .45 Xds Mod 2 extensively with zero malfunctions of any kind.The only gripe that I have with this gun is the front sight is .020 wider than the rear sight notch.This problem is easily remedied with the installation of a Dawson front sight for $40.Best price for just about any gun from Bud’s and fast shipping.
