cartridges. Chambered for the .22 Long Rifle the Rough Rider is

Rider is ideal for hunting, plinking, or especially Cowboy action

Great little pistol for the money. I have always liked shooting revolvers and this is my first .22 caliber wheel gun. It's always fun to spend the day plinking and this is a great addition to the collection.. The only complaint I had about this pistol was the handles were loose but other than that it's a fantasic shooter.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fit and finish of the Rough Rider revolver. Granted, it's not a Smith, or Sig, but it doesn't claim to be. It is a low cost, enjoyable gun for those looking for a value without dropping six or eight hundred dollars. Taurus has certainly improved the Heritage line, and you can quickly feel that if you ever had a Heritage prior to Taurus's ownership. I can also understand why Bud's is so popular. They know how to do it right.
