Tisas 1911 Duty Flat Dark Earth .45 ACP 5" Barrel 8-Rounds - FDE/Tan, 5" Barrel, 8+1 Rounds

I purchased A Tisas Raider 1911. This gun is the "clone" of the USMC's M45a1 1911 that t hey had recently fielded a little while ago. The pistol arrived in a very timely manner, and of course the price was fair as it was Bud's pricing. The gun came in its factory plastic case, which also included 2 magazines, a barrel wrench, and a barrel brush for cleaning it, as well as with its owners manual and a breach block (orange colored) so that you know there's nothing in the barrel at the time that it is in the barrel. The gun is made from Forged steel, the frame is forged, the slide is forged, and the barrel is Cold Hammer Forged. Buds i think charged me around 600.00 and some odd change, but honestly to get a pistol full of forged steel with a cold hammer forged barrel, from any other company especially one based in the united states, you'd probably pay near double easily for it. I can see Springfield, Kimber, Colt, or any other American manufacturer asking 1200.00 or more.. That said, its a heck of a bargain. Tisas is really producing some seriously good 1911's at incredible prices. I highly recommend people to give them a chance, they are building very accurate, tight, beautiful 1911s, that are frankly quite inexpensive for what you get. If you don't buy them, you're really missing out.

Very impressed with this weapon. Built very well, especially at its price point. I had admired 1911’s that look similar but they were out of the budget. I only have 150 rounds through it but so far they have been issue free. Grips are very tactile, cerakote seems done well and tolerances are better than expected. Don’t hesitate to give this one a try guys

A well executed clone of the M45cqb. Excellent trigger out of the box but wouldn’t hurt from a good break in period or some polishing up. Good fit and feel. Tremendous value in a 1911. Excellent service from Buds as always. I have had dozens of transactions over the years with them and they are my #1 go to for firearms.

So far, 400 rounds of mostly FMJ but also a good dose of various JHP...no malfunctions. Fit and finish is excellent, and it is extremely accurate. Mine has a trigger that breaks right at 4lbs. I am very happy having this in my collection and if you're considering this, don't hesitate. These are fantastic 1911's, especially for the money.

The tisas raider is well worth the money, it is very well made, the machining is top notch and it was very accurate. It also was nice to shoot, the extra weight from the rail helps with the recoil. I am very happy with this firearm and it came with tow mags and a nice case, Budsgunshop was great the price was better than most and the service was quick and hassle free.

If this bore a name like Colt or Springfield and I lacked awareness, I would easily mistake this Tisas Raider for a Colt M45A1 clone for the genuine article. Initially skeptical about the potential of a clone, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quality that justifies every dollar I invested in this firearm. Recognizing the excellence of 1911 pistols, I confidently endorse this clone as an exceptional choice. It’s a commendable option for those seeking a high-quality 1911 experience without the budget strain of a $950+ model.

Good deal for the money! Fired fine right out of the box, my only issue was it wouldn’t seat my Wilson Combat extended mags. Next range trip I will take a bunch of different mags and see what it likes and doesn’t like. Trigger leaves a bit to be desired, but that is an easy fix. Still, by far the best value to get into a 1911 platform.
