Cimarron Bad Boy 6" 44mag Revolver - 6" Barrel, 6 Rounds, Wood Grips, 3-Dot Sights

Got my pistol on August 25th of 2023, bought it home cleaned it up.It is a really high quality 44 Magnum Cimarron revolver made by Uberti,it's, quality is superb,fit and finish is near perfect,and the rifling in the barrel is beautiful. I have never seen rifling polished like a mirror that well in a pistol and is at least 12,000 deep,a wonderfully beautifully made 44 magnum pistol. Action is really smooth and the trigger breaks at about around four or five pounds with no creep in the trigger. Haven't fired it yet, look forward to shooting it, if shoots as good as it looks it's going to be a wonderful shooter.

Man, this thing rocks! Right out of the box, the action was smooth and slick, timing is perfect, lockup is dead solid with no cylinder movement. Trigger pull was better than most, but still a bit heavy for my tastes. A set of Wolff springs and it's perfect now for a working gun, at least for my preferences - lighter than the average stock revolver, but not a "hair trigger". Don't have a trigger scale, but I would guess it's around 2-12 pounds. Needs no polishing to smooth it up. Two things I wasn't expecting, based on reviews, but are definite pluses: 1) It has the floating/retractable firing pin, so you absolutely could carry it with six rounds loaded, although the better practice would be sticking to five. 2) Each cylinder chamber has a small notch milled into the outside edge, so you can see loaded chambers even though they're recessed. On the negative, there's more trigger overtravel than I'd like, and I wish the trigger itself was a little wider, but other than that, I'm well pleased with the purchase. The 6" barrel balances well, and it's easy to point. Time will tell, but it looks to be a very well-made piece that should serve me for years.

I bought this on a whim because I thought it seemed really cool. Not something I normally do. But in this case I am glad to say it is as cool as it looks. I finally got it to the range and it's a shooter! The sights were right on out of the box and I am impressed with the accuracy. This is my third 44 Magnum Revolver and I have shot several more and I rate it 4 stars.
Why not 5? Well, most of the screws came loose during the first 120 rounds that I shot through it on it's first range trip. Not a huge deal, but not that awesome either. Outside of that, it comes in a cardboard box. For the price they could spring for a decent case IMO.
Would I buy it again? Yes. I recommend it. The finish is amazing and the gun just looks great all around. The fit of the firearm is excellent as well. (Other than the screws coming loose that is.) This won't be my last Cimmeron Arms purchase I can assure you.

This gun is very high quality and accurate. Throat and bore dimensions are ideal for both cast and jacketed bullets. Fit and finish are perfect. Grips are very plain grain, but fit the frame without seams. Groups in the 1-1.25" at 25 yards on my first bench session. Top quality at an affordable price.
