Great little gun. Easy handling, quick pointing, and accurate. Nice little carbine to carry around with a lot of versatility. Shoot light loads for small game and targets. Load up some 180g full charged loads for pigs and deer and it still doesn't kick. Easily handles anything within a hundred yards with the iron sites. Will be the first capable rifle I hand down to the son and I guarantee he won't mind shooting it. It's easy on the shoulder, the budget, and on the eyes. Can't go wrong with this little lever.

I am glad I got it, but like most modern-manufactured Marlins (and most other guns, for that matter), some final fitting was necessary. I have photos posted and more details on the leverguns website under "Marlin CSS Delivered".

I wound up swapping out the stock with an older blued one I had.
