Buds had the best price I could find anywhere on the Magpul Hunter 700. They shipped it quickly and I had it in a couple of days. Really happy with this stock. After mounting it on my new Remington .308 SPS, I had it shooting 1/3rd MOA (with hand loaded ammo). Really a solid stock with which to free float the barrel.

Buds has the best price on the Magpul Hunter stock. The stock arrived fairly promptly. The stock is good looking and appears to be fairly rigid. I noticed a couple imperfections on the stock surface but I don’t believe that they create any structural issues. After mounting my Remington 700 action I was concerned by what appears to be a significant gap (approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inch) between my heavy barrel and the end of forend of the stock. The barrel is certainly free-floating, but the gap seems excessive. I contacted Magpul via email to ask if this is normal, but they have not responded. I notice that the gap decreases to approximately 1/8 inch when resting on the bipod making me wonder about how rigid the fore end of the stock is. Regardless, this stock is a great improvement over the Hogue factory stock. The next test will be shooting it later this week.

Fit my Remington SPS tactical like a glove, very comfortable stock to shoot.

Somehow i got some solvent on my old stock and the buttpad started melting...i was looking for a solution other than replacing just the butt pad and I saw this Magpul stock... I had already gotten The Backpacker stock for my 10/22 and loved it... when I saw the option for the Magwell andji the magazine, I was sold... I ordered from Bud's Gun Shop received in 2 to 3 days and the install was extremely easy... I use my Remington 700 in 308 Caliber every year to hunt Whitetail deer and now it seems i have a new rifle...cant wait for deer season, may have to slay some yotes this year too! Bud's Gun Shop had the best price tooo...highly recommend!
