I've always wanted GI style 1911 there's many different companies that make them now but I went with tisas straight out of the box It looks like a beautiful museum piece straight out of a world war II movie The feel of racking the slide is a feeling you can only get with a 1911 actually I had time to take it out this past weekend and put a hundred rounds through it no jams no nothing didn't need to add any Wilson combat mags or anything just used the mags that came in the box and she ran great frankly I'm on the website right now writing this because I'm looking to buy another tisas 1911 and for the price point u can't beat it. O and buds as a company couldn't be more easier to deal with even if you're hurting for money like I am and many of us are they're 90 day and 180 day layaway makes keeping this expensive hobby manageable I did definitely buy one before they go up in price like everything else

[ 76 year old male] Unsure of what to expect I was pleasantly surprised. This is my first 1911, 45. Within a few days I took it to the range and ran thru several magazines. My only comparison was to firing off 9mm and 380's. Immediately I was impressed. Because of my smaller hands I was a little concerned, but the grip was fine and when I closed my non shooting hand around it was good. A few pulls and the trigger pressure was good. There was less "kick" and with the 5 inch barrel my groupings were closer than current 9mm's as well as my 380's. Range started off at approx. 15 feet then 30 feet. Groupings were similar. No jams or issues. I plan to take this to the range every time I go. I'm a happy, well protected camper.

Well. I was pleasantly surprised! It was sent with the walnut grips installed as well as having the 1911A1 plastic grips in the box included . I am a 1911 guy and I was surprised at how tight it was and how nice the trigger was for a military clone. It really is a good quality gun and I think it will surprise a lot of people. I bought it so I could pull out a 1911 like I carried in Vietnam and show what it was like. Obviously the gun came from WWII first. It has the GI sights of course so these old eyes have trouble with that, but that’s what I wanted to show. I have carry 1911s and others but I like the way they duplicated the original. It is a high quality clone and actually probably shoots better than my originals.

Purchased a Tisas 1911 A1 from Buds. Gun was shipped fast to my local gun shop and I was on the range with it shortly after. Put a couple hundred rounds through it and it performed flawlessly. I would recommend this pistol and highly recommend buying it from BUDS
