Tisas 1911 Stingray Carry B9BA 9MM 4.25 ENHANCED 9RD EB - 4.25" Barrel, 9+1 Rounds, Iron Sights

Thanks to Bud's. Ordered the gun on Friday, picked it up at my local FFL on Monday. The gun itself has exceeded my expectations. The fit an finish is excellent, with a very nice trigger pull. The safety engages in a very crisp, positive way. I will be heading out to the range in a day or so and will be running all types of ammo through the gun. This will likely be my new carry gun.

Tina's Commander with beveled grip in 9mm. As a 50 year shooter and amateur gunsmith, I was skeptical of a $700. 1911. Since I had read a report on how much another shooter had liked its features and quality control, I though I would give it a chance. I am very pleased with mine. Excellent fit and finish are very fine and from the groups I'm getting it shoots. One little complaint. The Slide Release is too loose in the link. Easily remedied with a call to Brownells. Very satisfied!

This Tisa is a great hand gun, it fits my shoulder rig perfectly and is easily concealable because of the Bobtail design. I perfer metal handguns over the polymer models I seem to have better control, less recoil and can stay on target better. The price was fair and Bud's was great with their service

This is a well made 1911 and good for the money. Alot of value. And buds is the best when it comes to customer service

Picked up my Stingray after the dreaded Washington 10 day waiting period. Very very pleased thus far although unfired, but soon. Kudo's to Buds as usual for the fast shipping. Never let me down yet. First looks, the gun appears well made, decent trigger and nice finish. If it shoots as good as it looks, pretty sure it will we'll have another winner. Thank you Buds.

This is my second Tisas and I have to say that I am very impressed with their workmanship. The Stingray has all the features I need for a relatively modest price. It will more than likely become my cooler weather Everyday Carry piece once it is sufficiently broken in. I subtracted one star from my rating because when I received it the gun had obviously been fired and had absolutely no internal lubrication. There were no signs of wear so this may just have been the result of factory test firing. However, it really should have been lubricated. I cleaned and lubed it and it seems fine, but still in the back of my mind I keep wondering if a customer returned this for some reason. I'm looking forward to sending some rounds downrange and allaying my suspicions.

I have been pleasantly surprised by this piece. It's my third Tisas, but my first Tisas 1911. First, I love the look of it. The sunburst grip...the black slide over the gray cerakote frame...it's very appealing. But when I tore it down and really studied it's Series 70 internals, I came away even more impressed. I can't find any obvious machining marks anywhere. You can tell there was some care put into it. This is very affordable in this price range. If this same pistol said "Springfield Armory" on it, it would be in the $900-$1,000 price range. Some people knock Turkish firearms, but not me. I can see them really producing quality at affordable prices because they want to compete in the US market. Second, the factory trigger is really good. It's not among the very best, but it's more than you would expect at the price. And third, shooting it is just plain fun. Just like the PX-9 Gen3, it eats up whatever ammo you feed it. I own two of the PX-9 Gen3 pistols and I've never had a single failure out of either one. I've only had one in this 1911 and it wasn't even the fault of the gun. It was a light primer strike that I blame on the particular round because it ate everything else up (including the rest of that particular ammo). If you want a quality 1911 at a great price or if you just want to see what Tisas is all about, I highly recommend copping this piece. You'll be glad you did.

First purchase from Buds along with a shotgun in the same order. Everything went very smoothly and shipping was fast. My FFL had them in a few days. I am very pleased with this pistol. It shoots very nicely, is lightweight, and is easily concealed even in summer clothing. If you are looking for a carry 1911 but don't want to break the bank this is the one! I only wish mine came with the 2 10rd mags instead of 9.
