FN FNS-9C Compact 12rd/17rd Night Sights Black - Blue/Black, 3.6" Barrel, 12+1 Rounds, Polymer Grips, Night Sights

Was looking for another compact carry option and after a little research i decided to to try the fn fns 9-c. I have put 400 rounds down range and have to say i am very impressed. The trigger pull and reset is the best i have experienced with a striker fired pistol. Accuracy was top notch. Kinda early to make this statement but the fn seems to be a step up on my glock 19. Overall the quality is excellent (to be expected from FN). Only cons would be the mag release is a little tough to engage and the flush 12 round mag needs a pinky extension.

This is a great pistol, the first FN I've purchased and I very happy with it. I really like the night sight configuration where the front sight is slightly larger and brighter than the rear. One note of caution; when I first racked the slide, I thought to myself that I have never experienced a stiffer recoil spring, it was actually difficult to fully bring it to back to lock it open. I chalked it up to never having an FN. But my first range trip was a disaster; every 4-6 rounds I would have a failure to eject before the slide cycled another round in, jamming it. This was using all three magazines and I'm a long-time shooter so I know I wasn't limp wristing the grip. When I got home, and did some research I found this is a common complaint with the FNS 9C but also came across the tip to lock the slide back and leave it in the safe for a week or so. I did that and when I took it to the range 10 days later I had zero issues and I've had it back to the range, again perfect. As always great service from BGS.
