If you've ever watched a John Wayne western movie or seen an episode of "The Rifleman" starring Chuck Connors, you've seen a Model 1892. Following up on the enormous success of the Model 1886, the '92 was a compact version scaled down for pistol calibers. Famous for its light weight, low recoil and quick handling, over one million Model 1892 rifles have been produced. This modern day reproduction by Chiappa is faithful to the original design while using modern metallurgical and manufacturing technology. It has a color case hardened receiver, 16" round barrel and walnut stock. This repeater is a great choice for Cowboy Action shooting, small game hunting and general plinking.
