SDS Tisas 1911 A1 .45 ACP TANKER 4.25 COMMANDER - 7+1 Rounds

I'm impressed with the fit and finished of the Tisas Tank Commander, along with the wood grips, "enhanced" GI sights, and the basic tools provided with the plastic carry case. After field stripping and lubing my new Tisas, I took it to the range and fired seventy rounds with it, using the supplied magazines. I fired a mix of aluminum, steel, and brass cased 230gr and 185gr Ball ammo with no malfunctions of any kind. The accuracy and performance of this 1911 are satisfactory for casual shooting. Tisas is a great value for someone who wants a reliable, affordable 1911.

Wow.... Very impressed with this weapon! Purchased it last week, took it to the range today. It shot great! Very accurate and zero malfunctions. I guess the accuracy really surprised me. A little bigger and bulkier than my 1991 A1 compact, but nice!

This is my first .45 1911 and I really do love this gun! I think its a great intro to a 1911 but does require some break in and trial and error to be reliable enough to carry. So far I put about 350 rounds through it and it is deadly accurate even with the fixed sights. It is very picky with aftermarket mags so avoid the cheap ones with this 1911. Magtech seems to have a hiccup here and there but Federal seems to be its preferred FMJ round. Overall a great buy and will stay in my collection forever; perfect to carry outdoors and not worry about it getting beat up.

Great firearm at a great price, have 1000 rd ammo count through gun with no malfunctions. Will be buying th 9mm version. Because of recoil control will be changing beavertail to an extended on can buy them directly from Tisas.

Very pleased with this firearm. Solid firearm for a very affordable price. Gun is accurate and functioned better the more rounds I fed it. Only complaint would be I received two 7 round mags even though it's advertised one 7 and one 8 rounder.

This is a great 45, regardless of the price point of about $360.00 at Buds .Turkish manufactured guns are often considered B quality, but they have made great looking guns for years. I've owned two Coonans and a Kimber in 45 ACP and this Tanker is equal in performance, for several hundred dollars less. Oh, Buds ad is wrong as the gun comes with a case, 2 mags, and a second set of grips(!).

Tisas hit a home run with the Tanker True 1911, 70 series’s 45 cap cleaning is not a chorShoots well and has found a home. Metal frame , metal slide. Very nice

Just finished putting my 300th plus round through my newly purchased Tisas Tank Commander.45. Has a few hiccups as with any brand new firearm, but my targets show a great deal of daylight in the small black center! Accuracy is commendable and certainly better than I’m capable of. Magazines that came with the gun leave something to be desired but still in process of evaluating. Overall very happy with both the purchase and your service!! Thanks. Kevin.

I have owned and shot 1911s since 1988, and I currently own (or have owned) dozens of Colts, Para Ord, Springfield, Browning, Fusion, and Auto Ord 1911s - and these Tisas 1911s are truly outstanding pistols for the money. I purchased three Tisas 1911s: Commander 9mm and 45ACP and Govt Model 45ACP - and all have excellent fit and finish, an accurate imitation WW2 era finish and stocks, outstanding accuracy (better than any of my Colt 1911s - at 1/5 the cost), and appear to be of solid construction with quality materials. This is the perfect ATV or “truck 1911” and its the gun i throw in a shoulder holster when I’m trout fishing - I could care less if it gets wet or gets fish slime on it. For the money, i will carry and shoot these things where i would never carry my 1960s era Colt Commercial or Series 70 1911s - and frankly, they shoot better anyway.
