Not too big, not too small. Smooth trigger. Conceals great. Seems to be made for my hand.

I had a lot of problems with my 30sf at first. It arrived in good shape, but when I took it to the range I experience problems with the slide returning completely into battery. I called Glock and they sent a new recoil spring that did not help. I live in Georgia, so I took the weapon to the Glock assembly plant outside of Atlanta who will check out your Glock for free on a walk-in basis. They said they could find nothing wrong, but I continued to have problems. Finally after about 350 to 400 rounds the gun settled down and I have had no problems since. This all is in spite of the fact that Glock claims there is no break-in period. Subsequently I put in a Ghost 3 1/2 pound trigger connector and the gun is performing beautifully. I really love the pistol; it fits my medium-to-small hand well, shoots straight, is reliable (now) and is a good handling 45. Plus I just bought a 13 round magazine and an X-grip that gives me 14 rounds of 45 in a very neat package. It is hard to give the gun a single rating. Right now I like it enough for a five rating. But, it did cause me considerable trouble so I settled on a four.

I must say, this is my third Glock and I just love the 30SF. SF is for short frame not San Francisco. Yet I digress! Wonderful pistol, thanks Glock and Bud's for yet another arrow for the quiver! I hope soon California's gun laws are repealed! Join the NRA today! Stand Tall and remain free!

Great handgun! The firearm is well balanced and easy to conceal. Sight picture is easy to pick up for a second shot and the groups are fantastic. Bud's handled the transaction without a hitch.

What needs to be said about the Glock 30SF? Probably nothing, because everyone who owns one already knows they are superb examples of modern gun-making, and everyone who doesn't own one already knows they want one! The gun is Glock "perfect" which is to say the fit and finish are typical works and it works reliably! Pick any ammo, any nose profile and it feeds! The extra thick magazine plate makes it a 3-finger pistol which helps control recoil with heavier loads. One thing that makes the G30SF so special is it's modular adaptability! With a simple barrel swap it can shoot the .40 S&W, 357 SIG, .400 Corbon, .40 Super, and 9x25 Dillon! It can also handle .45 Super loads with an appropriate RSA upgrade. With a full-on conversion the G30 becomes a G460R "compact" pushing the mighty .460 Rowland downrange with stupifying energy! Another point about Glocks in general is they can be completely disassembled with nothing more than a small push tool - down to the smallest components within a minute! This makes it easy to install upgrade hammers pins to be "driven out"...a very quiet and efficient teardown process. Also....Glock has THE most advanced mechanism for slide's near instant, and allows a rapid field strip for cleaning....when-EVER one may need to worry about that! The fact is, Glocks WORK...and they WORK WELL! They simply do not malfunction....that's something for all the lesser designs...and/or the limp-wristers out there who cause ANYTHING they pick up to jam! I've been shooting Glocks of ALL calibers since they were introduced and I've NEVER had a single jam! EVER! I cannot say that about any other design. This is the "standard" Glock has set that all others aspire too.... The G30 will fit into a jean's back's EASY to carry and when stoked with Underwood's excellent 185 grain XTP at 1,200 fps/592 fpe, it WILL deliver the goods!
