I bought the 6" barrel took it right out of box put 100 rounds of OLD .22 LR 40gr ammo through it. NOT 1 jam or miss fire!!! gun shot dead on right out of box!! For the price you cant beat it!!! Buy this gun you wont be disappointed!!!

Shoots smoothly so far, after about 100 rounds. The ambidextrous safety pinches my hand when in safe mode. Spits brass in every direction - you definitely want to wear your glasses and a hat for protection from spent casings.

Looks funny and a little top heavy but an excellent target pistol for someone with small to medium sized hands. The frame turns pretty sharp at the palm grip but this is excellent for my daughter and wife. Had a couple feed/ejection problems with Winchester 22 LRN ammo out of 100. However, my Federals 22 HP work fine all fed and ejected well ~250 rounds no issue. Cleaning is not that bad at all, but the thumb screw may be problematic, 10 times easier than my Ruger Mark II.

Was looking for an inexpensive target gun, and I read previous reviews on this and other sites about this strange looking firearm. Can't wait to try it. This review is more about my first experience with Bud's - GREAT people to deal with. I appreciate the order status updates, clear communication, great price and fast shipping. I'm hooked!

Follow up to my previous post. Cheap ammo was the problem - doesn't like cheap stuff like Remington Thunderbolts. You don't have to use the best, just step up to Remington yellow jackets, and zero misfires !

Was looking for an inexpensive target gun, and like the strange style of this gun. Overall pretty happy. Nice feel to gun, shoots nice, and easy to breakdown and clean. My only negative so far is that I have shot about 60 round - and have had at least one mis-fire per clip. I am using pretty cheap ammo - Remington Thunderbolt's, so I am going to try better ammo and see what happens !
