I purchased a handgun from Bud\'s a few weeks ago, and, as usual, Bud\'s purchasing process and the delivery time were both excellent. However, I have no good news for the product involved. I bought a Tanfoglio 10 mm Witness compact pistol. Upon receiving and inspecting the gun I disassembled it and cleaned it before firing it. But at the range, and after firing 60 rounds, approximately fifty percent of the rounds failed to feed. I used Sig Sauer Elite Performance 180 grain FMJ and Sellier Bellot 180 grain FMJ ammunition. The FTFs occurred while using both ammunitions at the same rate. I don\'t know what to make of this malfunction, but I would advise against this particular handgun. From what I\'ve researched I\'ve read that European American Armory (through which the Italian company Tanfoglio sells its products here in the U.S.) is based in Florida and has a poor track record for dealing with customer complaints and issues. It appears that I\'m stuck with a turkey.

Gun has a great trigger and very little recoil. The bas is that it shoots very low and I have to pay for all S&H for warranty repair services on gun that has a well known accuracy problem. I'm gonna end up selling it.

ok I paid attention to the previous post and held on tight to the gun ) After i cleaned it out , I took it to the range not knowing what to expect . The gun fuctioned 100% no ffl or any problems, it shot a good group first 20 rounds. The grip fits my hand nicely and the recoil is about like a 45 acp . I have no complaints, I did not limp wrist it and it worked great (laughs) Im a little surprised that it worked so well and find myself liking this pistol better than i thought i would. Buds low prices are always a bounus. have fun )

PAY ATTENTION. I have read some bad reviews on this gun related to jamming so I was expecting it to jam and sure enough it did so I took it to a renowned gunsmith. He said these guns are great guns for the money but not a very good quality control department. He shot 2 mags with no malfunction but went ahead and tuned extractor, polished breach face and ramp to make it smoother. I got it back a week later and shot a box and it seemed to jam more, I brought me back and ran four mags of different ammo with no problem. I have never limp wristed and felt I wasn't now. I said that a 10mm is a different animal and a slight limp wrist will show on 10 mills more than any other gun. So I left there with a dirty gun and went straight to the range and it shot 5 more mags flawlessly with me concentrating on my wrist staying firm. I am very pleased with this economic 10mm, I just wonder how many of the complaining customers on YouTube and forums failed to really concentrate on not limp wristing. I am an experienced shooter that has to qualify every year that shoots 9mm, 40 and 45 and this is the first cartridge that I had to really hold solid. I would recommend this firearm..
