Great little gun buds service is fast and reliable

I removed my CM9 out of the shipping box after taking delivery this afternoon and my first thought was that it is the perfect size and caliber for my concealed carry needs. A wise man once said; however, "Nothing's easy" and I now agree... As an older gentleman with arthritic fingers, I was somewhat disappointed when I attempted to rack the slide for the first time. According to my better half, I have more firearms than necessary and thus feel qualified to state that this pistol is much more difficult to rack than any of the others in the stable. I saw similar statements in the CM9 reviews, but didn't really expect it to be quite this challenging. I hope to replace the spring with a more suitable substitute and thus keep the CM9 as my go-to CC gun. If not, away she goes...The good news is that I had the CM9 in my hands within three days of my purchase. Thanks again, Bud's. Awesome shipping response, as usual...

Very good quality overall and shoots very well for what might be the smallest 9mm semi on the market. Only holds 6 in the magazine, but this is a pistol that you could carry in your pocket. The only big negative I found was that the plastic front sight broke off of mine after about 50 rds. A metal screw in tritium replacement is only about $50 so if you want a tiny but very easy to shoot 9mm, maybe go ahead and order the replacement front sight ahead of time. Mine was accurate and reliable with multiple types of target and defensive loads. Overall 4 stars because of the cheap front sight.

I chose the Kahr CM9 because I can get custom magazine springs to increase the capacity from 6+1 to 7+1. For its size, capacity, and price, the Kahr CM9 is a better option compared to heavier and bulkier newer micro pistols like the Hellcat and P365. This handgun arrived fast and in pristine condition. I’ve made multiple purchases with Buds, and I have found them to be exceptionally reliable. Kahr’s CM9 is very well made and makes for a perfect inside the waistband carry. Kahr has beveled all the edges to provide for a smooth draw and lots of comfort. For a man with large hands, the pinky finger with be off the handle while you shoot unless you purchase the extended magazine. This is an extremely accurate gun that has not let me down. I was searching for a pocket pistol with a commonly used caliber. When I decided to purchase the Kahr CM9 (CM9093), the experience was great. This is my first online purchase and I'm glad I decided to buy from BudsGunShop.com. The process was awesome. It even has a list of Preferred FFLs in Puerto Rico and that made it very easy to pick the closest one to my home and have it shipped to them. I have not shot the pistol yet because I was waiting for a Hogue Rubber Grip to arrive in the mail. As soon as it arrived, I installed it. I purchased a Hogue HANDALL Beavertail Grip Sleeve #18300 for Kahr Arms P9, P40, CW9, CW40, with finger grooves, on eBay.com. Since the CM9 has a shorter grip, I modified the rubber grip by cutting off a small slice from the bottom, where the brand HOGUE is molded into the rubber. This would assure that there is no interference with magazine insertion and removal. I installed the grip exactly by instructions, heating the rubber in hot water (not boiling), with the help of plastic strips, and Windex, I was able to install them. Now that I have my CM9 with Hogue Rubber Grips, I am very happy and eager to fire my first shots in a range. I am also very happy and interested about the inner workings of the pistol's action. It has very simple internal parts that work very safely. It has a passive striker block that only moves out of the way when the trigger is pulled back and the cocking cam pushes up on the block, to allow the striker to move all the way forward and strike the cartridge primer. If possible, I will update this review as soon as I am able to visit a shooting range and test the Kahr Arms CM9 (CM9093).

This is the perfect concealed carry 9mm, the only problem I have with it is they placed the serial number in a large silver square spot in the center of the grip on the opposite side of the photo in the description. I have ordered some Talon grips for it, and hopefully it will cover this up.

I was concerned about how cheap the gun was but I was not disappointed. I ordered the same gun, and the company canceled it for inventory reasons. Bud shipped out the gun fast and I am very impressed with it. This is a great little firearm and I couldn't be happier with it. Thanks, bud!

A tool that still has a place in this new reality where hi-capacity micro tools are everywhere. Mostly for those who want to carry a defensive tool but do not want a full-size one with the added weight. Comfortable to carry (in a pocket, if that is your thing), and it works. Also, an option for those that cannot shell out over $600. Easy to carry and use, be sure to train and practice with it. I only wish that the magazines were more affordable. You may have to get a couple of them. Remember, this is not a range tool but a defensive one. When this tool came out initially, you could not find one. With the evolution of the Sig 365, Glock 43, and Springfield Hellcat and their variations, this one is available at a reasonable price. Grab one as a BUG!!!! And remember to always carry (where allowed).

Great little gun,feeds everything after a 200 rd break-in. Small, lightweight pocket pistol with a good "double-action revolver" trigger pull. Would recommend for anyone needing a small, lightweight, affordable 9mm everyday carry that you can trust.

I recently went to a gun show in Fort Myers Florida for the sole purpose of buying a Kahr cm9 or pm9 not one dealer had this handgun apparently no one in this area sells Kah r firearms believe me I checked ' anyway one guy was selling a used pm9 for what a new one cost. I decided to search online and found Buds, low and behold bought my cm9 for a decent price and was shooting it within days. Easy Pzee

This Kahr 9mm is now 99% of the time my main carry. Shoots great. Compact, not too heavy. Easy to dis-assemble and clean. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a compact great carry option.

Buds was fast. This is one of my favorite carry guns. Some people rag on the mag capacity but they don't know what they're talking about. It's about the smallest 9mm you can get and yeah it doesn't hold 10 rounds but that would add weight, and if you're after a gun this compact you probably want to cut weight anywhere. Very easy to shoot accurately, I put Truglo sights on mine which helped dramatically.

Probably the best accurate and well handling micro pistol I’ve ever owned or fired, bar none. As small as it is, it does not cry out for a pinky extension like most pistols this size. 100% reliability with all types of ammo. One of those slide plate mounted clips works perfectly on this gun for pocket carry. Very attractive and well made. Buy with confidence!

My Kahr 380 Is my edc in summer. This is my edc in the winter. Both have been 100% reliable. Couple hundred rounds thru each of them with no issues.

Item was shipped promply and at a competitive price. Unfortunately since the time I purchased this firearm tax happy Illinois, where I live, has slapped a 10% tax on every firearm bought through the internet. With that and the FLL trans fees, it makes most internet sales prices non-competitive

I like this gun because it is very accurate even with the short barrel, but there are some negatives as well. The first is that I can only fire about 50 or so rounds before it starts hurting my hand. The grips are rough and it only takes a little while before my hand starts to hurt from firing it. Not a problem as a carry pistol, because you'd never need to fire that many rounds for protection, but at the range, it's a problem. Get some better grips. Another issue is the warning about how careful you have to be in following the procedure when reassembling after cleaning. Don't do it exactly right and you have to take it to a gunsmith to have it fixed. Definitely a design issue in this day and age.

Nice small 9mm ccw handgun.

Mixed emotions on this one. Heavy to rack, snappy shooter but has a hitch in it somewhere where it does not follow through all the way to battery. I have a cm9 and a pm9 both do this and will not carry either because it may not go into battery post reload. I do not recommend Kahr. I have sent back once, no fix. I tried, back back back backup piece.

Great pistol overall. My few complaints are more of personal preferences. I was never able to shoot 100% accurate with it. Even had other people give it a go and they said the same thing. It was also a little heavier than expected, but that’s my own fault since the weight is in the description.
