First of all I want to start out by saying that I have never purchased a firearm online until this transaction with, and I have to say I was beyond impressed with the call center representatives, the ease of purchase (MAKE AN OFFER and the layaway options), the speed of shipping was less than five business days, and Bud's setting up the Preferred FFL Dealer for me made things beyond simple. The FFL Dealer I chose only charged $25 for the transfer fee and background check, so that made it even better. NOW FOR THE PISTOL.... WOW!!! This beretta arrived in the factory silver paper box with blue hard case. The case can use some work and it's flimsy, so you'll probably want to replace it if you plan on transporting the pistol in a hard case. The pistol arrived with two 15rd magazines, a cleaning rod, brush, and a wire attachment for cleaning. The literature is written in Italian, English, and French. The pistol arrived in excellent condition, with no tooling or machine marks. It has fixed 3 dot sights, so if you're into adding aftermarket sights you may want to look at the M9A1. The frame is aluminum so the finish looks different on the frame vs the slide assembly. It also has a slanted dust cover if that matters to you. The pistol was flawless at the range with no failures to feed, ignite, or eject cartridges. In total I shot 200 rounds at 15 yds with 5 different varieties of ammo (115gr FMJ PMC, 115gr FMJ Winchester, 115gr FMJ CCI Brass, 125gr HP Remington Ultimate Defense, and 135gr HP Federal Hydra Shok). All 5 shot groupings were within 5 inches, with the best accuracy coming from the Federal ammo followed by the Remington. All the FMJ ammunition seemed to have the same accuracy with no big difference between the manufacturers. All in all, the whole experience was stress free. From the cheap prices and quick shipping to the excellent reliability and accuracy of the pistol, this purchase was one that was made with no buyer's remorse.

Buds made the transaction easy and had the best price. Ordered on a Saturday, pistol arrived by Friday with Monday being a holiday. Buds provides email updates throughout the process. The 92 is shipped with two magazines unlike some competitors. I was looking for a full size 9mm for the range and the 92 is perfect for this task. To date, I have put 400 rounds down range and the 92 has operated flawlessly. Easy to break down and clean. I considered the 226 but at close to half the cost, the 92 is an excellent choice for the range or home, in addition, spare magazines are very affordable.

Absolutely 110% satisfied with this firearm. This is without a doubt my favorite handgun, for pretty much every reason you could think of. I have shot right around 400-500 rounds with NO malfunctions whatsoever. It is one of, if not the most reliable pistol on the market. Bar none. Your average Glock just doesn't quite hit the level of greatness that this gun hits. I would trust my life with this gun in ANY situation. Out of every 9mm handgun that I have had experience with, be that the Glock 17, Glock 19, Smith & Wesson M&P, Springfield XD, FN FNS9, CZ-75, Walther PPX, and many other **quality** firearms, I would still prefer to have the Beretta 92FS on my side over any of the aforementioned. The safety/decocking system is amazing. The accuracy is to die for, along with the rate of fire that this gun provides. The sights are flawless, as they are integrated onto the slide, so no worries with knocking them out of place. The single action trigger is so crisp and light. The way this gun feels when you pick it up is phenomenal. If you're like me, you will pick this gun up and feel as if it was taylor-made for your hand. It fits like a glove. The chrome-lined barrel is undeniably one of the attributes this gun has as well. Any ammo is acceptable for this gun, even high pressure rounds (i.e. buffalo bore, NATOs, etc.). With that said, this gun seems to LOVE winchester ammo. I have shot UMCs, Winchesters, Federals, Buffalo Bore p & p , Fiocchis, and Speer Gold Dot p HPs. The 92FS is not picky with ammo. As much as I could go on and on about the sure awesomeness of this weapon, I will conclude by saying BUY IT...NOW!! You will NOT be disappointed in the quality of this firearm. And for the price Bud's is selling it at, you can't go wrong. Well done, Beretta. You have truly redefined perfection with this gun.

Buying from bud was a great experience. Gun came to my FFL within 5 days - didn't have a scratch on arrival. Put 250 rounds in it last night -- performed perfectly on the 1st 2 reloads after which it jammed on the 3rd clip insertion on the 1st round. Removed the bullet and the gun then performed flawlessly for the next 200 or so rounds. Maybe its just the gun being broken in -- will put it trough the test again tomorrow. Took the gun appart and didn't see any major pblms with it. The gun otherwise looks beautiful and fits perfectly in my hand (6 feet tall).
