Nice lever action, fiber optic sights make a big difference

I love this 30-30. Great gun, great accuracy, feels really good in the hands.

fast shipping from buds as always. i love this gun, it is very accurate. have put about 120 rounds through it so far with not a single issue. it is the first .30-30 i have ever shot or owned and i am not disappointed.

Get the bad out of the way, the foregrip doesn't have the full rails like the picture they're only about an inch and a half long, the side rails are molded into it, the bottom is screwed on. My vertical grip did a very nice job of ripping the bottom rail clean off, twice. My rifle does NOT like nickel casings, almost guaranteed a FTE, can't say if this is common, or just a small defect with mine. Now, the good, without a scope, if i point it at something the round is going exactly where i want, very accurate gun. The adjustable stock soaks up quite a bit of recoil meaning you shoot for a longer time before your shoulder says "no more", it also allows a much more comfortable length of pull, and the ability to let smaller or larger shooters give it a shot. Overall, the foregrip could be better, but the rifle performs beautifully

Some of the online reviews on were not good.I rolled the dice anyway.The first two box of ammo noted several failure to cycle events.I was running Remington core lokt 170 gain cheapest and Winchester 150 gain silver tip.However after running about 60 rounds the gun began to cycle great no failure.Shot 40 more rounds again yesterday with not one failure to feed.I believe most the problems were user error on my part.You got to get use to the lever action safe guards.Iam glad I purchased this gun.Love the gun .Will make fun truck gun.Don't believe everything you see on youtube.Federal 150 gain soft point working well for me.Thanks again buds !The gun went out of stock right after I placed it in layaway.Love the layaway option.

Overall what I expected. However there are 3 different variations of forends. The "Stock Photo" shows one with full picatinny rails but what I got only had a small 2" rail at the very tip.

First I want to say Bud’s is the best shop I have ever dealt with. Customer Service, product (product knowledge) and selection are hands down TOP Notch. I absolutely love this piece, I am a big Mossberg fan. Right out of the box, I was able to drop 4 out of 5 targets between 25 and 50 yards. The molded parts make the piece light and very durable, I don’t have to worry about damaging fine wood from moisture, bumping or dropping. Highly recommend, great bang for the buck.

This was the first gun i ordered from Buds and it went very smooth overall a fast process. Now for the gun its pretty awsome. The action is a bit stiff at first but after a few rounds it gets easier. Me and my wife ran threw a few hundred rounds the first day we took it out. What a blast so much fun to shoot and its different not the same old Ar. Would definitely recommend.

Hi All, If you're after a fun 19th Century rifle with a tactical twist this is for you. I have a couple hundred rounds through this rifle, and I can tell you mine eats anything, and seems to shoot quite flat out to 100m +- 10m. These are easy to clean and loads of fun to shoot.

This tactical 3030 is awesome!!! I put a Vortex red dot on it and man is this thing accurate. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I thing this thing is beautiful. There is a break in period just like all guns. Once broken in, this 3030 runs smoothly!!!

Love it. I know some people think it is ugly but it just works for me. The adjustable stock makes it easy for my son to use it as well. Right out of the box it was accurate at 50 yards and cycled fine. I didn't try to speed shoot it as some have and then complained when it jammed. Will put more rounds through it when it warms up a little more and will update my review then.

This is the worst gun I've ever owned. I can't even run one box of ammo through it without it jamming or misfiring. I cycled a round though that got jammed so bad I had to use pliers to get the live round out. This gun is terrible. Stay away.

This was my 15th gun from buds and they are as always awesome!!!!!! As for the Mossberg I was very upset at them for shipping it with a gold bead sight instead of a fiber optic one. Other than that the fit and finish are great. Cycles real smooth and shoots dead on at 75-100yds with iron sights. HERE I COME ZOMBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have purchase over 10 firearms from buds and it is always a pleasant experience. This rifle is very neat and will probably become one of my deer rifles. The adjustable stock is perfect if I decide to hand the rifle to my girlfriend in the field. The only issue I found was that my rifle did not come with fiber optic sights. I didn't send it back because this wont be a defensive gun.

Fun rifle to have, accurate and well put together. It does have some trouble cycling ammunition however, so if you were to use this I would stay away from any soft-point rounds as they catch right below the barrel in the chamber housing.
