Great little carry gun at a low price. After a while I forget it's in my pocket. I was torn between the P3AT and the Ruger LCP and I am very glad I chose this one. Light weight, accurate, lighter trigger and priced great. Ruger can keep the LCP along with it's recalls. Give me a Kel-Tec. Perfect carry gun for people who dress light.

If you are looking for 1.5" groups at more than 7yrds, pick another gun for a CCW. If you need something easy to conceal, no matter what you are wearing, and need to be able to put 2rds in center mass at that range, BUY IT. I carry this one wherever I legally can and never worry about it printing while carrying it in a strong-side pocket holster. Perhaps more than other guns, this one needs to be kept CLEAN. Only complaint is that the dual recoil spring is not captured. So special care needs to be taken not to deform the spring when reassembling after field stripping. On the possitive side of that coin, Kel Tek sent me a complete guide rod and spring assembly (gratus) when I developed that problem. I have not had any problems since as I am careful now. But I'm hoping KelTek corrects this design in the future. I bought the extended magazine that allows 7+1 and extra grip space and don't have any problems with follow-up shots. Beware, though, MAGSAFE ammo will, "blow up the gun," according to K-T's customer service ( and there's a sticker right on the packaging the ammo comes in that clearly states, "Not meant for use in KelTek P3AT's."

I've had my P3AT for a few months now, and it is a great gun. I carry it almost everyday. I bought thebelt clip and the extender for the clip. It is well worth the money for the options. You can carry this gun in your pocket with the belt clip and not even know it is there. Also, others think you have a knife in your pocket. This little gun can shoot good. I have shot about 250 rounds and not one problem. I feel this pistol is well worth the money. Small but Mighty is all I can say!!

I've had my P3AT for a few months now, and it is a great gun to carry! Surprisingly accurate for a gun as small as it is, and so far reliable. Very light and fits in a pocket very nicely. The price isn't bad either.

Folks this is my carry gun. I carry it ALL day every day on the worksite inside my pants with a belt clip. I work manual labor, the gun sits right inside my fly, I keep a round in the chamber, and I have no discomfort or worries. I am able to do this without worry of being de-cocked because the trigger is a long pull all the way to the stop before it will fire. I mention all this because if you're gonna carry a gun all the time it should be comfortable, instantly accessable, and be able to do the job when called upon. This is the only gun I've found and the only way to carry that is perfect in any situation. However, if a 380 isn't enough punch for ya, though it should be since most all fire fights are within 10yards, try the PF9 inn 9mm. I don't know if it'll wear as well but it should. John
