I had heard bad things about Henry's A7 Survival Rifles and was hesitant to buy this lever action. I was, therefor, pleasantly surprised to find that this rifle is BEAUTIFUL! Fit, Finish AND Function are all GREAT! I bought it because I wanted one since I was a kid and my cousin had one...it was worth the wait. Buy this for a boy or girl and I'd be willing to bet that they'll be giving it to their kids when the time comes. The gun is just that solid and well made, IMHO.

Wow--I love my new Henry Frontier rifle! Shot it today for the first time and the lever-action was smooth as butter. The fit and finish are such that I'm thinking of buying another and mounting it over the fireplace--this beauty literally transports you back in time and reminds me of all the John Wayne Westerns I watched growing up (always wanted a classic lever action rifle). Yet the facts are that lever action rifle, while certainly a classic collection piece, still is a very practical gun well over a century after their introduction. Just a wonderful addition to your collection for a multitude of reasons. Highly recommended! --Happy Holidays
