The Good: Nice magazines and the housing is super smooth making reloading sweeet! And steel in places where glocks use plastic, like the sights for instance. Nice case and gear. Good ergonomics and feel if your a man with large hands. Smooth and crisp trigger break and reset. At first I did not care for the safety trigger and hand safety but since my gf and my daughter will eventually shoot this gun they feel better when its sround the house and its easy to get use to. Also the ready to fire" indicators are nice features. Very upgradable and accurate. The Bad: The grips work but need either tactical sleeves or grip tape of some sort because they feel slippery if your palms are sweaty. Although the XD gear is nice it is pretty cheezy. I might use them as backup in my range bag but not for serious carry. The mag release can be bigger and the takedown lever smaller. The sights need upgrading, maybe truglo tfo's and it sucks you can get extended mags for the 9 and 40 but not for this, although if two or three 13 rnders dont take down the bad guy yous mine as well grab the 12 gauge. The Ugly: The ugly is what becomes of the creature standing on the business end of this big 45 caliber beast. I baught and sold a few nines and decided it was time i put bigger holes in things. The nine will do fine but I only need one handgun and bedides self defense its fun to see big holes in things so step it up to a forty five!

Great weapon at a great price. Very pleased. You won't be disappointed! Slings plenty of heavy steel down-range taking out anything it hits. Never jams. Easy to disassemble and clean.

Gun is the XD 45 OD Green w/ Black slide. Not the one pictured. Figured I go w/ the OD to change up from the typical black. Buds ordering process was painless and easy. Shipping was prompt and firearm arrived as described as usual. Simply put, Buds is the best. Now for the weapon. Its and XD 45 w/ 13 +1 capacity... nuff said. Slinging 14 rounds of 45acp down range, what could be better? Fit and finish is superb, ergo's are the best and function is flawless. Exactly what I've come to expect from XD. The XD 45 is a superlative firearm.

Another great purchase from Buds. Excellent service and communication as always. I bought this to match my XD 45 Compact in OD and Black. Inspected the gun at my FFL and it was in perfect shape. Wonderful price especially considering the available prices around my area. I'm already considering at least two more purchases from Buds. This gun is absolutely awesome; it's a Springfield, so you really can't go wrong.
