I was disappointed with the purchase of the Taurus 851. Upon receiving the item, I dry fired it a few times, noticing that often the cylinder failed to advance/rotate. I immediately sent it back to Taurus. The gun was repaired and returned in a timely manner, with a list of problems that were corrected.
The gun preformed better, however, during the trigger pull and return, the slightest pressure against the cylinder could again cause it to fail to advance or even rotate backward! I was advised by some that this was not uncommon with revolvers. In my lifetime I have owned many revolvers and still own a few. I have never encountered this problem before. My confidence was shaken with this gun, and I sold it at my first opportunity.
Very disappointing, because this little snubby looks and feels like a perfect pocket revolver

The Taurus 851 is a nice looking pistol. It has a nice finish and has no cheap looking qualities about it. i bought a Taurus revolver several years ago and i can see that they taken a lot more pride in the aesthetics with this one. It is a good size for pocket carry and you are still able to shoot it in S/A or D/A. I have not got to shoot it yet, waiting on ammo to come in, but will post again later with results. So far a nice looking gun in a good size and hopefully a good shooter.
