Great service and pricing from Bud\'s. Fit and finish on wood and metal are outstanding. Extremely accurate, tiny groups at 50 yards. That was after the trigger job. Ruger states that the LVT has a target trigger. 7.5 pounds for a factory target trigger sucks . Got the trigger to 2.5 pounds. Fair rating due to crappy factory trigger.

OK, this is a good rifle. I don't want to qualify it with the "for the price" bit, because it is just really very good if you consider what it is. This is a semi auto plinker, that on my first day out with it delivered ragged one hole groups at 25yds with CCI Blazer 22's off a bench... really great results considering "just average" ammo (I'll try it with some fancy match grade stuff next time). Is it a Walther or Anschutz single shot target gun? No... but for a humble 22 semi auto... one could do worse... even within the 10/22 line. I chose this over the model 1262 Target model, and I believe this was the better choice. Less weight out front for better or worse.. but way better balance... a good thing for the offhand rifle I was looking for. One the fence on a Ruger 10/22 LVT? Get one. Pick a color you like (there are three variations) and add that sucker to your cart. No regrets.

Nice gun for the price, It shoots great for the price, seems to be supper reliable,i have put 200 rnds. though it. It shoots about 1/2" group at 50 yrds. with cheep rem ammo. The trigger is not bad for a factory trigger, but not what i call a target trigger.

This rifle is great, I fired about 2000 rounds. it is very acurate, one inch group 50 yards away target, all 30 rounds in the bullsaye 2 or three out the one inch group with the cheap remington 550 round box ( they are very duty ammo; but sharp)
