Great communication with Bud's. Gun was very tight. Put 50 rds thru with no fte's or ftf. Probably needs about 200 more to break it in good. Great buy for the price.

Having run about 500 rounds of inexpensive reloads thru this pistol I can give a fair and accurate assessment of it. Fit and finish is very good. I have been told that most 1911's have a little rattle to them and this is no exception. It does shoot relatively straight. What I mean by that is that I can empty a clip onto a standard bulleye target the size of a normal sheet of printer paper at 25 feet and they all group in there nicely. Simply put, hold the paper up to your chest and you'll see they all end up in the kill zone. I've had to endure less then a half dozen hiccups in those 500 rounds and as I said, it was eating a steady diet of bargain ammo so take that with a grain of salt. It's no Colt or Dan Wesson, but for 350 bucks, you can't go wrong with this gun. Buds as always was great to deal with.

Tisas 1911- came shipped in a nice padded plastic "tisas" case. Comes with cleaning brush and cleaning rod. ran 50 rounds of tula stleel case. NOT one hiccup. Shot at 7 yards and was shooting holes ontop of holes. Weapon is dead on accurate with these fixed sites. Fit and finish are great. Trigger breaks brakes like glass. wood grips could use some more finishing, but for $350.00 on sale, this gun was a great deal. I shot at 7 yards, 15 and even 25. I am a firearms instructor, and will vouche for this weapon performing. Gread deal from buds. I would reccomend this weapon to a friend.

I got my Tisas 45 APC in less than a week from Buds which I think was incredible seeing how I goofed when I sent in my payment and forgot to put my order number on my certified check. Buds was all over it and got it shipped the day after they got it. As far as the gun it is a good solid well made weapon. I took it to the range without cleaning it and put 100 rounds down range with 2 FTF's. Not bad at all. I am a little disappointed though, she shoots left. The line was dead on, but at 15 yards she shoots about 10 inches left. If it wasn't for that, she would have been a solid 5. Now I have to decide if I want to spend the money on new sights. That might run half the price of the weapon. If you are looking for a reasonably-priced 45, do not hesitate to consider the Tisas.
