This is a monster of a gun. You better start working out to carry this for any length of time. The gun shoots very well, and has very little muzzle flip. It almost feel like shooting a 22 caliber even though it's a 45ACP. I would suggest using high count straight magazines vs the drum. The drum is very hard to attach and un-attach without another person to help

I\'ve had this Thompson for several years now and am finally getting around to leaving feedback. I\'m going to have to rate it pretty low, which is disappointing. The finish on the metal and stock are really nice. But the 20-round stick mags that it came with didn\'t fit. When I bought mine it came with one 50-rd drum and three 20-rd stick mags. This was supposedly from the factory. The stick mags didn\'t fit because the latch holes didn\'t match up with the gun\'s magazine latch. After looking at them more closely they weren\'t even Thompson. The drum is, but not the sticks. And you MUST use 230 gr ball ammo for reliable performance. Don\'t even try to use steel case ammo. Brass case only. And that\'s fine. Why spend $1300 on a gun and then scrimp on the ammo. The 230 gr brass case ammo is for your info (and it\'s also noted in the instruction manual). And if the magazines don\'t sit exactly where the gun wants them to you\'re going to have feeding problems. Guaranteed. So don\'t necessarily imagine yourself as Al Capone the first time out at the range with this baby. Put away the fedora and cigar so you don\'t embarrass yourself. Last comment - It is an impressive looking eye-catching firearm surely to draw attention at the shooting range. Just make sure you familiarize yourself with how it operates and how to load the drum magazine. The number of clicks you turn the winding key to wind the drum are \"full, loud clicks\" not the more quiet clicks.

Outstanding customer service and transaction from Buds. Very happy with this purchase. This gun is a must for a historical collection. After my research I found that the T150D is the best deal because the drum magazines and stick are included (they are pretty expensive on their own). Plus this price from Buds is the best out there. No one else comes close. Also included is the plastic hard case with the Thompson logo on it. The steel receiver makes this gun very heavy at 13 pounds. Heavy duty. Thank you Buds !!

Super high quality gun. Workmanship is excellent appearance great and the gun is actually far more accurate than I expected it to be. The first time I took it to the range I used the stick magazine and fed hand loaded 230gr RN ammo through it as the manufacturer suggests. After about 100 rounds I tried 200gr lead HP hand loads and they also fed and functioned perfectly. I loaded up the 50rnd drum and shot 47 rounds with 3 jams. I found that it needed 2 clicks more than the 9 suggested and it feed and functioned perfectly. The gun is heavy but over all very fun to shoot. If you don't reload you will spend some money on ammo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
