I actually bought the 22 cal P220 from Bud's and ordered the 45 cal upgrade from Sig Sauer. The upgrade contains a slide, barrel, etc for the 45 cal and it fits on the P220 frame so two guns in one. This has turned out to be a fine firearm. As a 22, it is a nice shooter and allows me to practice with cheap 22 cals. As a 45, it is just as nice, very accurate and well built. If I needed another home defense firearm, I would not hesitate to buy this P220 SAO at Bud's $664 price.
