This is my pocket pistol when my larger caliber concealed carry is not doable. Comfortable with shots out to ten yards.. more accurate than i expected but takes practice. The 22mag is a little dragon breather and fun to shoot as well. Love my Pug and love the half notch safety carry feature.. pure genius. A 22mag in your pocket is better than nothing when you cant carry a larger firearm. High quality and innovative firearm from NAA.

The pistol seems to be very high quality. It is everything that I expected. Since I owned another model, I thought that I knew how to place the hammer on the notch between the cylinders...a necessary skill. I was wrong. I had to re-learn. The hammer was very strong. I decided to work the hammer a few hundred times by dry firing to get used to it or loosen it up. I also decided to practice and re-practice putting the hammer on the notch. It is well described in the manual. There\'s also a YouTube video showing the same. The secret is to pull the hammer back about half way...just past a click... then the cylinder will spin. You rotate the cylinder until the notch is just right, then you continue to hold the hammer while pulling the trigger and lower it onto the \"safe\" notch. I did all of this many times before loading for safety reasons. I don\'t consider this a fault at all...unless one doesn\'t take the time to understand and practice. Pulling the pin out and removing the cylinder also had a learning curve. I oiled the pin assembly and practiced with it 20 times. I\'m not as good as the guy in the YouTube video. For this pistol, reading the manual is extra important. Practice is important. .

This is one sweet little back up gun or throw in the pocket and go gun. Beautiful finish on mine. No tool marks, scuffs or scratches. The fact that I found one with a trijicon tritium front sight is awesome. Do not hesitate, buy it! Great addition to any collection. As for Bud's...the usual extraordinary price and selection of course. I believe this was my 13th purchase through Bud's. Always a flawless transaction.

A tiny gun with results. at close range (5-10yds) you can easily hit the target in a impressive pattern. glow-sights was an extra few bucks and I noticed a better visual. small gun with big hands was a little uncomfortable, however the grip is extra helpful. Take down and cleaning was easy and quick. overall a lightweight pocket gun to have for any close range situation.

I could not be more impressed with this little pocket rocket!! I have those same friends that say "if it ain't a 45 then it's not going to stop some linebacker on pcp" blah blah blah...I always ask them the same thing: How often do you shoot people? Cause I don't shoot people very often. Never have as a matter of fact. This gun is what it is: a potent little gun that will fit ANYWHERE. The old saying a 22 in your pocket is better than a 45 at home could not be more true. This gun goes with me EVERYWHERE and is built as well as a Smith and Wesson. Never had a single problem and will shoot any kind of ammo you put in it. Its also a blast to shoot!

I ordered this on Friday, the following Monday was a holiday. It delivered to the FFL at 2pm on Tuesday and I had it a hour later. Excellent service from Buds. I have been to the range twice with this tiny revolver and have been shooting Speer Gold Dot mags in it. What fun, lots of noise to be sure. The last time I shot pistols was in 1969 so I am no small shot group shooter. I have shot the Pug exclusively at 10 yard targets. I will say I can hit the target silhouette. So far I am not exactly sure where I will hit it but I do hit it. I have RA so my hands are a mess. If you are on the fence about getting one due to recoil with a small gun then worry no more. It is easy to shoot. It is a well made gun, very sturdy, not so much like a Pug (talking dogs here) but a French Bulldog. Regardless, the Pug is a blast and goes in the pocket with no problem.
