I had previously test-fired a CZ P-01 and a 75 Compact, so I don't have a lot of experience with CZ. I did buy the 75 Compact, and love it, so I consider myself a fan of the brand. I bought the P-07 because it was cheap, I expected it to be reliable, and I needed another loaner gun for my classes. After all, how great could it be for under $400? I also steered a friend into buying one, because she didn't want to spend a lot, and I was confidant it would be reliable. My FFL is also a gun range, so when I picked it up, I took it right in and fired it, without lubing it. I was stunned to discover it was significantly better than my 75 Compact, on several levels. Even though it is somewhat lighter, the felt-recoil seems less. The sights are much better, and the accuracy is almost surgical. The gun is slightly wider than my 75 Compact, so the grip is a better fit. The other dimensions are almost identical, but the mag holds 16 instead of 14. The machining on the slide feels good. The trigger has a little more take-up than my other one, but once it meets the sear, the transition to the break is smooth, and does not have that bump that is characteristic of SIG, S&W, and some other guns. It is easy to shoot, well-balanced, feels good in the hand, and makes it easy to shoot consistent 6-inch groups at 15 yards. Needless to say, it will not see duty as a loaner; the 75 Compact just got demoted. Rats! I did not see that coming. After shooting it, I would pay $700 in a heartbeat for one. It is true after all: the only people who don't own a CZ are the ones who haven't shot one yet. As usual, Bud's was a pleasure to do business with, and I recommend them highly.

All I can say is you will not find a better handgun for this price. I shot around 200 rounds right out of the box with no issues. Tulammo, Winchester, Perfecta and ZQI ammo were the rounds I shot and as I mentioned before no malfunctions whatsoever. It came with really nice night sights wich I was already thinking on adding to but cz save me the money and the trouble. All of my friends owners of other nice 9mm where surpriced with how smooth the trigger was as well of how accurate. Once again don't look any further and get it.

First time gun buyer with buds and first gun owned. This cz is a great gun. very accurate no FTF or FTE at all. I ran about 350 of remmington with no problems. It has a bit of kick buts is a compact. Pistol fits great in my hand. Ergonomics are great. I love this gun.Once i got gun shooting the range cleaned it. I then switched from the decocker to safety fairly easy. Buds helped out a lot. Like i said first time gun buyer so of course i had questions and they helped me out tremendously. I will be buying more from buds. I just ordered my holster for the gun from buds. Buds will not let you down!! Best prices on the web. Thanks Buds.

WOW!!! Picked up my brand new CZ P07 at the FFL today, and I could not resist taking her down to run some slugs through it. I only shot 50 Remington 9 mm FMJ at the local range, but I'll tell ya' even a blind 57-year-old like me CANNOT MISS WITH THIS GUN!! At my age I there are only two different distances/ranges I cannot see: 1.) near and 2.) far. So sights are a little onerous to line up. However, CZ's sights seemed to make it easier for me as the front sight was small/narrow enough to leave daylight through the window on either side of it, so I could readily discern when the front sight was rear-sight-centered. My shots were pretty well placed. I shot at 15 feet, 30 feet, 45 feet and even 50 feet, and I don't think any shot strayed outside of a 6-inch diameter. Sorry for my chirping, but I'm unaccustomed to shooting this well. :o) I did not take an excessive amount of time lining up the shots, and I fired with my glasses on; just as I might with a crisis shot. Some of the 15-yard shots even passed through the same hole. YIKES this gun is a tack driver even for me, a guy who has never had shooting lessons in his life. The gun performed flawlessly, no FTF's, and the muzzle flip on it was very, very low. Easy to quickly get back on station. I guess I just was not used to a single action pistol, as my other gun is a Ruger LC-9. Ruger is a great product, but it is intended to be more of a "belly gun" I think. Ruger has a looooooong trigger pull and is DAO. This CZ is accurate even though it is a compact. The CZ is sturdily built, and it is obvious that quality workmanship and materials were used in this gun. The controls for the decocker and the slide release are aggressively sized. Easy to manipulate. Firearm ergonomics are excellent. I read some reviews that claimed the magazine got stuck in the gun, but I experienced no issue whatever. The magazine ejects cleanly every time. It is positioned so that accidental, unintended magazine release is not an issue. Fit and finish on the gun are excellent, and I understand it is even better on the newest iteration of this distinguished firearm. I think I read that the slide release is ambidextrous and you can convert the decocker to a conventional manually operated safety. One cosmetic negative, however: The end of the slide and the frame are not flush. The slide overlaps about 3/16ths to 1/8th inch on this firearm, and it makes it look like this gun was a blem. Maybe it was designed like this, but it is something I can live with. That having been said, the magazine states that it holds 16 rounds. It does not. Not for lack of trying either. I am a burly enough guy to make her fit if it does in fact go, and I cannot make this magazine swallow more than 15 rounds. If I ever have to use this gun (may God himself forbid) I don't think I'll need more than 1 anyway. The gun has enough sturdy heft to it so that kickback is eminently manageable. All in all a sensational product out of CZ. "Most impressive" as Darth Vader says. Buds's purchase process is easily navigated, and clearly defined on the website. They give you a status report on the progress of your firearm's journey to you, and they provide links to the shipper that even gives you an approximate delivery time. One thing I would like to see however: I purchased an extended warranty on this firearm, but was not sent along a hard copy of the warranty terms and conditions, nor a disclosure of what it covers. I suspect I will have to take that issue up with Buds tomorrow. If you are considering Bud's or this CZ product; my candid advice: GET OFF THE FENCE AND DO IT.
