Ok, I've had this gun now for about 2 months and I have to admit that I really, really like it. It is my daily carry piece now and I have absolute confidence in it. To be fair though, this gun was NOT perfect out of the box. In fact, I had a couple different issues. The main issue I had was the slide locking open after each round and difficulty chambering rounds. I contacted Taurus and had a next day shipping label in my email within five minutes. I sent it to them and had it back 7 days later. They fixed the slide lock issue and chambering problem. They even included a detailed report on what ammo they tested the repairs with and how many rounds fired. I took it to the range the day after I got it back and had zero problems. I fed a variety of hollow points and FMJ with no problems whatsoever. I have put over two hundred rounds through it since and feel comfortable and confident carrying it. While I did have issues with the gun, Taurus worked hard to make it right and I am very pleased with their product and customer service. I would not hesitate to buy another one, but as always, make sure your firearm works before you bet your life on it!

Another smooth, trouble free transaction thru Buds and I am very pleased with this "pocket pistol". It's 6 1 but it also came with an extended 8 1 mag that allows you to extend your grip to a full hand, although that mag impacts the pocket-carry aspect. The gun shot EXTREMELY well out of the box, great accuracy up to 25 feet and I really like the trigger. The low profile sights take a little getting used to but again that's part of the pocket-carry aspect of the gun. The only negative I have (and the reason I can't rate 5 stars) is that I had 3 failure to feeds out of the 100 rounds I shot the first day at the range. I was using PMC FMJ loads and I'm not sure if the issue was the ammo or the feed mechanism; once I cleared the rounds that malfunctioned I hand fed them again and they all fed just fine. The issue may smooth out once the gun is broken in and I'll be heading to the range again soon to try some hollow points to see how they chamber. Overall a great little pistol and I think it will work well for true concealed carry- I would recommend it.

This Taurus shot very well and is very simple to disassemble and clean. To those purchasing this firearm just remember that this is a point and shoot firearm.... Not a long distance sniper rifle. The sights are small for concealment & anti-snag purposes = (personal protection). I was surprised that is came with 1-6rd mag & 1-8rd mag w/extention. its a very cool little gun. You will be happy with this purchase.

I purchased this Taurus after owning an AMT Backup DA and a Kel Tec 3AT both in .380acp. I must say this Taurus is a real shooter. The trigger pull is smooth and predictable with the recoil being quite controllable. I have fired all makes of ammo and configurations with no malfunctions what so ever. The slide locks back everytime the magazine is empty and I truly enjoy shooting it. Both My AMT and Kel Tec would beat my hand up with the recoil after several hundred rounds in a day. I have fired 200 rounds per session with this Taurus with no fatigue to my hand at all. I have been a law enforcement firearms instructor since 1988. I have on at east two occasions failed to OK Kel Tecs for lack of reliability in an on duty backup or off duty carry situation. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this Taurus to other shooters or law enforcement officers.
