Great gun!! took it to the range and put 150 rounds thru it and performed like a stud. Slide release is a little stiff, wasn't able to release with just my thumb. Maybe I'm just use to a Beretta slide release or after a couple of cleanings it will loosen up. Definitely a great first gun, didn't have any of the stiff trigger issues others had breaking it in, oh plus $150 cheaper than any gun store in the area.

I love the SR9c. I found it too bulky for concealed carry but it was a lot of fun at the range. This was my nightstand gun for many years due to its accuracy and reliability. I like the redundant safety features. Excellent gun for new shooters. I originally bought mine as a cheap 9mm while I saved up for something better and never ended up getting a "better" 9mm, the SR9c won me over. I foolishly sold it to finance a gun I've already traded away. It's pretty certain I will be buying another one soon, I really miss it. My sole complaint was the racking was HARD. When new it was brutal, after a few hundred rounds it got easier but was still very stiff.

Very well made and though out pistol. The trigger was decent out of the box but with a little stoning and bp1000 it was the best striker fired trigger I've ever used.

Excellent concealed carry weapon!! The look and feel of the handgun is amazing. Whether it has the extended 17 round magazine or the compact 10 round, the gun is easily concealable. I wasn't too impressed with the speed of shipping but the gun arrived in great condition and as described.

This is my first hand gun that I've owned. I purchased this gun mainly for CC. I have used 9mm hand guns in the past when I was on active duty and I liked how they performed. Shipping was fast, weapon was shipped on 7 Nov 14, received 12 Nov 14 and that's including the weekend and holiday in between. Weapon was received in hard case with no foam protection, however, gun was wrapped up in a plastic bag. Gun is somewhat stiff, but I expect that since it's new. I'm sure it will be better after cleaning and lubing. Overall, my experience with Buds was excellent and I will definitely order from them again. Currently looking to buy the S&W M&P15 Sport 30+1 223REM/5.56NATO 16" rifle.

Researched this gun online extensively before buying. Great reviews and Buds had the best price. (Thanks guys). OTB (Out of the box) it shot low left but the sights are adjustable and a few hundred rounds and some tweaking later, this has become my dedicated carry gun. The safety features, the smooth trigger, soft recoil and dependable accuracy make it a winner. 3 inch groups at 15 yards (double tapping) and same hole (sub MOA) at 5 yards is excellent for a defensive handgun. If you are thinking about it, go for it. Also, if you add the 13 round magazine and adaptor you get a full sized SR9 (almost). Sweet. Very pleased, and it's made in the good ole USA.
