Extremely satisfied with the purchase of this Revolver. This is a great gun! Sturdy, with a great grip. You can tell it's build with quality, and it shoots very well. Very glad I pulled the trigger on purchasing this!

I wanted a DA/SA revolver to add to my collection. I was looking at both the GP100 and the S&W 686. Everything I read and saw said the S&W was a better gun, but only because it has a smoother trigger pull. As I continued to research, I kept leaning toward the Ruger, primarily because of Rugers reputation for tank-like construction, and its abitity to take powerful loads. I decided to buy the Ruger GP100 .357 in the stainless 4" barrel. Of course the first thing I did was to test the trigger. I found it to be very smooth and crisp, and it got better as I used it. It is also worth mentioning that the grip is excellent at absorbing the recoil shock and is very comfortable. For the difference in price and the reputation for Rugers build, I would definitely reccommend the GP100. Very accurate with both magnum and .38 special.

This is a great gun. So well balanced and comfortable. I personally like the big fat hogue grip it came with, but I wanted to carry it and I put a regular hogue mono-grip on it. (my big belly gives me a lot of "tool-shed" to carry a revolver in) Shoots very smoothly double action. Balanced so well there is not much kick with magnums either. Finish was great except I noticed a small tool mark on the barrel lug at home. I smoothed it out carefulyl with 1000 grit paper and I would say this is my favorite revolver of the 4 I have.

Love it! Before I got this firearm, there were many concerns regarding (a) if it was concealable and (b) the trigger was supposedly sticky. Despite what I've heard, I had no issues with either of these. (a) It's definitely concealable. I'm 5'9" and weigh 190 lbs, and I typically wear tight jeans and have no issue conceal carrying this firearm. No printing. (b) I think the trigger is great! The double action is amazing, and the single action is great, too. Never had an issue with accuracy, stickiness, stacking, etc. when taking this gun to the range. The ONLY con I would say that there was about this firearm would be the black-on-black sights. However, this could easily be corrected with spending $30.00 on a HiViz front sight. Great gun, would highly recommend.

No flaws that I can see, but then I didn't really expect any. Lockup is tight, trigger a little stiff but I expect that after some use it will smooth out, and the finish is blemish free with a nice brushed look. Haven't shot it yet but it is a well built revolver which should provide some great shooting with reliable service. My 4th pistol from Buds, what can I say, they say what they do, and they do what they say!!!
