This was my first purchase from Buds. Amazing customer service! The purchase was painless and stress free. The Ruger GP 100 arrived in perfect condition and is everything I expected ... and more. My first round at the range right out of the box was a bullseye! Needless to say, I'm delighted with my purchase and with Buds! Hats off to the FFL they recommended. One Shot Trading Post provided excellent service at a very low fee. Thanks Buds!

Buds has great service and best prices. The Ruger GP 100 is a quality revolver. The recoil is manageable due to the weight of quality steel. Comparable to a SW but easier on your wallet. The grips are comfortable and easy on your hands. The trigger in SA is smooth and keeps your barrel steady for better accuracy. You've got to own this gun. It's a blast to shoot.

There's no reason to pay more for an S&W revolver unless you want to pay for the name. I'll admit that I was skeptical about this Ruger revolver until my buddy let me try out his at the range. The trigger's SA mode is clean and crisp and feels VERY similar to my 1911's 4-lb. trigger. You can feel trigger mechanism stacking up as you slowly pull it in DA, but it's no worse than any other DA revolver out there. I have no complaints about the fit and finish on my particular example. The revolver's weight and barrel length make shooting .357 Mag loads very tolerable; as long as you have good technique your upper body won't get beat up after a few boxes of it. Shooting .38 Special out of this revolver is entertaining because of the sheer lack of recoil. If you're on the fence about this revolver, you owe it to yourself to just purchase it, already. You won't regret it. The only thing I plan on changing up is a set of new sights--I'm not sure if I want to go with fiber optics or night sights.

This is the revolver that I recommend to all the first time shooters I work with. My wife bought one 12+ years ago, which matched my 6 inch one. Excellent weapon, and very accurate. You can shoot the 38 specials in it, and then move up to the more powerful 357 Magnums. Versitale !!! My 14th Ruger and at least half of them from Bud's - no problem EVER !!! 2 more days and my Armalite AR 10 will be here also - another fine purchase from Bud's - its hard to beat the prices. ***Since I recommend it so much, I figured I should own one also, I got tired of cleaning the wife's for her,*** Its built like a TANK !!! Mike - US Army Pistol Team 1974 - 1977.

Great gun, great service, excellent price, what more can I say! I love my Smith K frames, but I always worry that hot 357 loads may wear them out. With the GP100, I just blast away. IMHO only a tank can mess up this gun. Ruger really builds to last.
