This was a great buy right out of the box. Only adjustment needed was to raise the front sight post a couple turns. It also works great with Tapco AK74 mags, which are far easier to find. Did about 4 mags and only had one FTF on last round in the Tapco mag. The factory supplied mag worked perfectly. The only flaws are some obvious "cheapness" on the sights themselves.

Bought this gun on layaway, buds was awesome very fast shipping and easy to do. My gun was shipped the day after my final payment cleared and it showed up at my ffl two days later, gun looked pretty good, the buttstock was the only thing I didn't like, it's cheap hollow plastic but the finish on the gun was superb, I've never seen an ak action rifle that was so nice. I bought a spam can of ammo the other day at a gunshow for 170 bucks and it eats that stuff like candy gun was dead on at 100 yards right outta the box. Oh and it takes high capacity ak-74 mags with no problem. Now I'm debating wether or not to convert it to a pistol grip, I'm kinda diggin the way it sets now. Now I want one in .308 buy one while u still can

The only reason I give this rifle a '4' is because there are obviously better weapons out there. However, this thing is AWESOME for the price you're paying. I took mine right out of the box, wiped down all the parts, lubed it with some Break Free (because I trust Break Free), and had a great day at the range. Even with cheap Russian surplus ammo, I was putting rounds consistently on the paper at 100 yards with open sights with only a half turn for elevation adjustment on the front sight. Inside of 100 yards (25 and 50), I was able to put together some very nice groups--and I'm a novice marksman at best. This rifle is built well, shoots consistently, and leaves you satisfied... ... Buds has been great (despite some technical difficulties with their computers during shipping), and I'll be glad to continue to do business here.
