The rifle is well-built. It has a very good trigger, very light and responsive. Heavy as it may be, the weight mitigates the harsh recoil. I would buy this again but in a different color.

Bought this rifle when it came in stock. The pictures don’t do it justice. This thing is a beast. Paired it with a atlas bipod, and still browsing for a worthy scope. The quality is amazing, and this gun is rather large. You might need a bigger case, I did. Do yourself a favor and buy this thing.

Really hard to find somewhere to really open this thing up but D*** I absolutely love it. Only issue I had was the picatinny rail was mounted a little crooked which could’ve been a simple warranty claim but what the hell, took me two seconds to fix. One hell of a conversation piece I might add too lol.

Impressive firearm.. Very happy with it, great price from Buds. Definitely noticeable at the range in several ways. If they don’t see it, they’ll come searching for who brought a cannon to the range..! I’m dropping one star because for a ‘precision rifle’ Ruger skimped on some simple stuff that’s no way acceptable for what they say it is.. guess saving a buck is a buck but the barrel shroud wasn’t straight and neither was the massive muzzle brake. Nothing hard to fix, just don’t think I should have had to..

What an absolute beast of a rifle this thing is. The online blogs and videos don't do it justice. This thing is a UNIT. It is quite heavy and feels very well-made. Everything locks into place tightly including the folding stock, and nothing feels loose or rattles.
I was impressed with the factory packaging also. The box is huge and well designed to allow for easy access to everything included, without compromising on protecting the weapon.
I have not had the chance to fire it yet (hooray ammo shortage) but I cannot wait to see what this thing is capable of. It certainly looks intimidating when combined with a nice long range optic and mlok bipods. As always thanks to Bud's for the awesome and quick service. Best online firearm retailer there is.

Finally got out to shoot this monster!! What a great rifle. Hardly any recoil and it worked flawlessly. Pulled it out of the box,mounted my scope and went to the range. First shot in the red !!! Just a little fine tune and it will be ready.... Buying from Buds is always great!!!

Beautiful rifle. I've been waiting a long time to buy this rifle and finally decided it was time. Ruger does not disappoint in craftsmanship. Ordered some various grain ammunition ranging from 250-300 grain, to see what the rifle performs best with.
Looking forward to mounting the scope and taking this machine out to work with it.

This is an absolutely fantastically crafted firearm. I could not be happier. Extremely accurate. I threw a vortex viper pst II 5-25 on it and it is a tack driver... actually more of a precision sledgehammer as this round really gives a ride to a 3/4 inch AR500 plate at 100 yards. Near none felt recoil, probably similar to a 22-250 in recoil felt. This is hands down the finest rifle I have ever owned and fired. Well worth the price. Buds was great as usual.

Awesome rifle so for I haven't been able to get it out to far but tight groups sighting it in.
Can't wait to see what it is capable of.
I probably will be getting one of the other calibers also that's how impressed I am with it.

For the money this is the best precision rifle chambered in .338 you can buy. Couple this with a nice long range scope and you have yourself a rifle that will go out 1000 yards or more. When we sighted this RPR in, the groupings at 100 were about 1moa or closer (3 shot groups) we used Hornady 338 Lapua Mag. Amatch rounds.
Just an amazing rifle chambered in any caliber you like. This is my favorite one, and I have the 6.5 creedmoor and .22 rimfire models as well.

The gun has horrible machining marks on the lower reciever as well as all the writing is double engraved and blurry looking to the point you can't read it. This is absolutely the worst looking gun I have ever bought. It's a shame ruger let this out the door

I have just finished sighting in the scope in on this weapon and am really impressed with the way this gun shoots and the accuracy that I was able to achieve immediately out of the box. It enabled me to fit the gun to my needs and body with the adjustments. I will give a follow up review later. I just want to put a unrequested compliment to Buds Gun Shop for their customer service and the speed in which they got my weapon to me. Thanks and Good, Safe shooting.

I got to shoot this awesome rifle this weekend. After five or so sight in/warm up rounds it put the next three rounds through the same hole. The rifle is great, huge, heavy, loud, but that's what i was looking for. The factory trigger is really quite good, and the adjustable stock fits well.

Definitely recommend this gun, so fun to shoot!

This rifle is stunning. Massive. The muzzle break is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I’m really Impresed with build And design quality. I cannot wait to get This to the range. I installed an vortex scope And atlas bipod on this beast.

Fit and finish are good. I have this rifle in .22 on up to .338 - so I might be biased. But if you feel like banging a gong at a mile this would be my choice to do it with. The .300 might barely shoot a little tighter.
