My Taurus PT-1911 was manufactured in 2013 as per the Taurus serial number look up tool on their website. It came with the older model magazines than they come with now. The older ones had worn fairly badly and one had developed a crack on the back feed rail. I ordered 2 of these to replace my old mags and was surprised that they are not only branded for Taurus, but also they are Mec-Gar mags. I love the new polymer follower design. It allows for better feeding of hollow points. Everything is much smoother. I was so impressed to the point that I ordered 2 more. Always shoot responsibly. 😎
