I've purchased several guns from Bud's and all have gone smoothly. I've always been a Smith and Wesson owner until my agency moved to Beretta 9MM back in the 1990's. I read articles and reviews about this Ruger .357, watched videos critically/analytically until I thought my eyes would bleed. The photo does not do justice to the appearance of this revolver - I was somewhat disappointed. The gritty battleship grey finish was unexpected - my ignorance concerning the description when I bought it. So I sighed, and put her into the safe until range day. On range day I put her into my bag along with my Smith and Wesson .357 3" to shoot for comparison. I'm not enamored with the S&W 3" either as it has a very sharp recoil and feels very utilitarian in my large hands. Upon firing the Ruger I recognized that it felt like it was part of my hand, the recoil was a hearty push - not a slam. It hit where I wanted it to hit (I'm a fairly average shooter) with little deviation. I couldn't stop shooting it. This plain Jane revolver was growing on me rapidly. Finally one of the range minions tapped me on the shoulder and told me my time was up. I couldn't believe an hour and 100 rounds had already gone by. I looked down at my new Ruger and couldn't help laughing; she reminds me of the frontier mail order wife who isn't anything to look at but she can fish, hunt, cook, trap, mend your clothes, tend to your illness, hike till your legs fall off, skin a deer or bear, she keeps you warm on frigid Alaskan nights. And if you're real good to her she'll let you win at poker now and then. Yup, my new love, and she's gorgeous. Sorry, the "Product Rating" only goes up to "Good," it should be OUTSTANDING!

Ruger 10/22 Take down lite arrived at my local gun shop within 7 days of order, which I think was pretty quick. Firearm was in good shape and seems to function well, although I've yet to take it to the range. Don't know about these negative reviews I see on the internet; my experience with Buds was great. Only fly in the ointment is that they need to update the transfer fees supposedly charged by their preferred FFL holders. Site indicated that IFA Tactical in Sterling Heights Mich. charged $25 for long arm transfer fee, when in fact they charged me $50. Don't know if this is a bait and switch known by Buds or something I should blame the transfer agent for. Anyway I was pretty cheesed off! Hope Buds changes this info.

This was my first order from BUDS. The purchase process was flawless. Shipped quickly and tracking number and schedule provided was accurate. Gun was in perfect condition. Not much else to say. Its a Ruger! Put a Redfield 3x9 on it and it drives em home. Its is very lite even with the scope. Already have my next gun in the cart. Thanks BUDS. R/Eric C

I am, and have been, a Bud's Gun Shop customer for several years now. As a patron NRA life member, I recognized upon my first customer association with Bud's, and as a member of Team Bud's, that I had found a commercial enterprise that is truly a Second Amendment "supporter" in every aspect. I have never had a less than an "Excellent", purchase experience with Bud's. In every respect, availability, price, service, and post purchase support have exceeded, by far, any gun purchase, I have made, since I was first able to purchase firearms as an adult. I am a Vietnam veteran and have been, and still am, an LEO for over 50 years now. Thank you Bud's!
