Amazing gun. I put about 1600 rounds through this fun little gun, No jams, no issues at all with it. if you are looking for a .22 range, target shooting gun, This is really good, also good for concealing and a carry gun for females or Smaller people. Would recommend This gun to anyone.

The Roger SR-22 is a nice little gun that worked flawlessly out of the box the first time I took it to the range. It comes as either a model with a 4.5 inch barrel or a 3.5 inch barrel and I think the longer barrel should offer greater accuracy. I bought this Rutger because, unlike other .22's that I own, this pistol has an exposed hammer and is SA/DA. This not a target pistol like a Mark IV but it makes for a decent plinker and offers the added safety of an exposed hammer. DA in a .22 is often stiff, and this pistol is no different, requiring 20 lbs of trigger pull to fire in DA. This is surely a difficulty for my wife who lacks the needed strength in her trigger finger but it also reduces the risk of an unintended discharge. Field stripping for cleaning and reassembly are a breeze. Good purchase.

Did alot of research and not disappointed
First range day ran about 300 rounds through it, all different manufacturers and grains, hi velocity standard, it ate it all no problems
Had 2 misfires. But with double action just pulled trigger a second time and both went off, they were from some ammo I have that has had many poor primer rounds that dont fire alot in other guns.
Again super happy with this purchase as many of my other semi auto 22lr are ammo specific when it comes to reliability and feeding. Looking forward to get back to range

I liked the 4.5" bbl version so much, I bought the shorter bbl one as well. THAT'S the best recommendation possible!

I love this 22 LR Pistol. I had the original version of the 3.5" model SR22 but unfortunately it was stolen from me. I beat myself up long enough but when I had the handgun I thought to myself if only the barrel was a little longer, it would be the perfect 22 LR pistol. Well now I have it, couldn't be happier.

My wife and I both love this pistol. We bought it for inexpensive plinking and to work on our marksmanship. It's been 100% reliable and it is accurate. Highly recommended.

Purchased this with my wife in mind, as she has trouble cycling 22 cal revolvers. In single action, the trigger is quite manageable. Double action stacks quite noticeably as let off approaches. It was accurate with Remington Vipers, with no failures to feed extract or fire, Accuracy ran 2" per magazine at 30'. While these probably wont have the durability of the Ruger Mark pistols, it is fun to shoot, and well sized for smaller hands. Given that the Mk III's are at the same price point, I would rate this pistol slightly lower. It is easier to take down (grasp the slide tightly as I launched mine) than a Mark style pistol.

This weapon is the best I've handled in a long time. It's great looking ,racks easily and is very comfortable to hod and shoot. For the price, it's a great buy!

This is a great little pistol from Ruger. It's blast to shoot but don't be surprised if it leaves your ears ringing. My brother and I have so far ran around 500 rounds through it with only about 4 rounds that didn't cycle properly (Probably because we were shooting cheap bulk pack ammo). The gun was stiff at first but has loosened up nicely over time. Taking down this pistol is a snap and is done without the use of tools (Unless you wish to remove the barrel). Overall I would recommend this gun to anyone man or woman of any size. If you are looking for a competitive type target pistol it might not suit your needs. I believe this gun is perfect to carry in the woods, trails, or farm, but most of all at the range to shoot some steel targets. Ordering from Buds is simple and taking advantage of the cash discount gives you the best deal although it does take a little longer.
