I’ve been searching for a compact .40 S&W. Already having been a customer of Springfield I decided to stick with them. The Mod 2 is the perfect compact weapon and even offers an extended magazine for those with larger hands. I used the layaway option buds offers and it was an amazing experience. I’ll continue to use Buds as my primary firearms dealers.

I love this gun it's ergonomically designed to fit your hands and the grip zone is amazing. It shoots on target and after 200rds I haven't any jams or any other problems.

Incredible firearm! Maybe my favorite ofany that I own. .Shoots great! Springfield is the way to go. The gun is awesome all the way around. My first experience with Buds was as I've heard. Excellent! This is the best pistol I have ever owned. Fits my larger hand great. No twisting when it is fired. Bud's Gun Shop was superb in their service and kept every guarantee they made.

I bought this gun to use as a CCW. I have fired about 500 rounds through it with zero problems. It is light and was the extended magazine so I can get a three finger grip on it. I am very happy with this gun. As always Buds handles the end of the deal with a great deal of professionalism. Never any problems here.

Like the grip and how it feels in the hand. Shoots good and looks even better. I like to carry due to the size and weight. Shooting the 40 in this gun isn't even a big deal where ive shot the 40 in different guns and didn't like the "pop" in the hand. Several guys at the gun range tried it and thought it was the best gun they had shot in the 40 caliber.

We use to carry a Springfield XDS in 40 caliber in our jean pocket using a Sticky holster. We sold it to a friend. Buying this Springfield XD Mod 2 Subcompact was a good way to go. Using another Sticky holster in my front jean pocket, no more printing than the XDS did besides having a higher capacity pistol. It came from Buds Guns 3 days after we ordered it. It is perfect.
