Great product. Trivial to convert my Kimber .45 into a .22 for plinking. Given the weight of the lower, there is literally no recoil so makes for a very stable platform.

I really like the Kimber 22 conversion kit. At first, it would not fire. The hammer on my Taurus 1911 45 cal AL was hitting the rear sight of the 22 kit and preventing it from hitting the firing pin mechanism. After raising the rear sight out of the way, it works perfectly, shoots straight and true. I love it. It looks great with my Taurus. I highly recommend it.

I was cautious when initially purchasing this item. The internet is loaded with info. stating how unreliable they are. My conclusion is that people who have difficulty with this item are people who have difficulty following the instructions which state USE CCI MINI MAG AMMUNITION. Spent yesterday on the range and fired over 300 rounds with no problems what so ever. Excellent item. Excellent trainer. I do like the lower expense for ammo and benefit of using my lower. Thanks Bud's.
