I bought this gun as a joke; but the joke was on me. It is a fantastic pistol! It has great accuracy potential due to it's trigger; which may be the best trigger of any polymer pistol on the market. A co-worker asked my advice on what would be a good, low priced, 9mm pistol for home defense. I strongly recommended this gun, even though I had not previously owned one. I had read and watched dozens of favorable reviews about it, though. He chose a gun I would never own or recommend; costing roughly the same, with a crappy trigger, crappy ergonomics and far less capacity. I was so mad that he wasted my time, I bought this Canik, just to rub it in his face. When he saw it, he felt like the fool he was and I wound up with a great little gun.

I just received my new Canik TP9SA MOD2 last week from BUD's. I put 250 rounds through the gun without one jam. I began my practice from 7 yards, but eventually moved my targets back to 15-25 yards. This pistol is amazing!! The accuracy is flawless. I don't think one could get more accessories for their dollar. A holster, 1 extra mag, magazine loader, 2 bore cleaning tools, and an extra back strap with punch come in the carrying case. If I were going to recommend one handgun from the endless selection from Bud's; the Canik TP9 SA, mod 2 would the pistol. The de-cocker is an excellent safety feature that all striker-fire pistols need. Bud's has the best prices I have found for all guns and shooting accessories. I paid the additional $15 for life-time maintenance on my new Canik.

This is probably the best 9mm I have ever owned and I like it better than my glock 17. I never had no problems and i fed it all kinds of rounds and brass and steel casing and was trouble free and would like to thank Buds for easy purchase and great service they provided to me.

Put 300 rounds through it when I first got it. Brass was not ejecting. Was getting caught in the slide. Would happen 1-3 times on each magazine. Call century arms and they said it's because the recoil spring is too strong. They said they would send me new one. Still waiting. But aside from that. It looks great and shoots great aside from fte. But hopefully that will all be fixed when I receive the new recoil spring and guide rod.
