I've always used a lot of federal shells and i'm real happy with these that hundred and eighty grain should Work real well with Elk this fall.

Runs fine in my M&P AR-10, at 100 yards it holds about 1 MOA sometimes 1 MOA+. At 200 yards in my Ruger LRP, it holds 1.125 MOA. I find the Federal Premium, Law Enforcement, tactical bonded tip, 168 grain to be more accurate and hold a better MOA. If you need the 12 more grains in the projectile this will get the job done. Also the price point seams to be less.

I use Federal ammo regularly but I bought this for the first time because it was cheap and I was breaking in a new rifle. I was extremely surprised as his ammo was really consistent. My DD shot this anywhere from 3/4’s to 1.5 off the bench. This was a little heavy for my twist rate but still performed well for hunting ammunition.
