Thanks to the availability of this purchase I won my first match using this ammunition. Score!

i bought 3 boxes of this win cowboy ammo. i thought winchester made good ammo. but when i opened up these 3 boxes to check out the bullets, i found 12 deffective rounds. some had th e mouth of the casings crushed,(some cases looked like squashed beer cans!) several rounds had the bullet loaded upside down.and a couple had the top of the bullet sliced.(apparently poor quality control) i contacted winchester's customer service,they sent a shipping label for the deffective rounds along with proof of purchase and pic of the ammo boxes. a few weeks later they sent a check to cover a full box. so all turned out ok.

Great ammo, you know you're going to get the best 44-40 ammo when it's made by the company that invented the 44-40 caliber. It is a little pricey but I think that is due to it being a bit of an odd caliber now a days. It's all I use in my Uberti 1866 44WCF.
